She isn't a strong fighter or anything but she has a strong will and a strong mind. She isn't helpless. She can make do on her own most of the time as long as there isn't any kidnapping or capturing involved and even then, she still manages quite well.

Akame is probably the best fighter of the group although she lacks life experience and can be imature.

The female lead kicks butt and she is smart.

She isn't a fighter but she is smart and she is strong minded to be able to endure the treatment she is given.

She fights with the guys and although she lacks exoperience and people think she is a guy, she has some killer instincts...litterally.

What would the men of this anime do without the women? Perish probably. 

Several of the toughest fighters are females.

She's small and young but she knows how to fight and has a strong heart

Revy, the maid, the nun.....all crazy and crazy good at fighting. 

Koko is as amazing and strong as she is crazy!!!
