OP - Aka no Kakera - Suzuki Yuki
ED - Hitomi no Kotae - Noria
OP - Arrival of Tears - Ayane - Link
One of my favourite artists, and one of my favourite songs! It's got a great beat, and although the anime itself is mediocre the opening animation with the song behind it is a pretty good way to start the show.
OP - Signal - TK of Ling Tosite Sigure - Link
Okay, so I can't deny the power of this guy's unique and interesting vocals, and his pieces are always beautiful-sounding. It's not my favourite sound though, and I don't necessarily think it fits 91 Days fully, though a more upbeat shounen-esque song may not have fit the bill either. It's a beaufitul song, though.
OP - Absolute Soul - Konomi Suzuki - Link
Another mediocre anime with a great opening. Whilst I might not listen to this song outside of the anime opening itself, it has a great beat and catchy guitar riffs, set to the characters dancing (or flinging their weapons around, whichever way you want to see it I guess). It's a really nice way to start the show!
OP - Himitsu wo Choudai - Ars Magna - Link
This song is so upbeat and happy, the start of the video is creepy as shit, but nevermind. It's a very upbeat and catchy tune with these cuties singing it! ^_^
OP - Yoru wa Nemureru kai? - flumpool - Link
I really like this song and somehow missed it out of my list first time around. Shame on me! It has a great beat, great vocals, great lyrics and it's something a bit different from the cutesy anime openings.
ED - HOW CLOSE YOU ARE - Miyano Mamoru - Link
I love Miyano-sama's voice, and this song is a really nice, slow and melancholy one.
OP - Boku wa Boku de Atte - angela x fripside - Link
On the whole I prefer season 1 opening but this has its charm too. It sounds a little more generic for my tastes, but it's fast-paced and fairly exciting, and angela's vocals rarely disappoint.
OP 1 - Skyreach - Sora Amamiya - Link
This isn't a mega-exciting song, but still worth mentioning, because the chorus is great. Exciting and fast-paced, and fits the show well.
OP 2 - Liar Mask - Rika Mayama - Link
I generally prefer this opening. The beginning is great, and a little unique too (with the effects behind it, leading into the fast bit with the choral backing then into rocky guitar...I'm not a pro musician so forgive the random terms xD ). It's catchy too, which in general is the most important thing for me with an anime opening.
OP - &Z - SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:mizuki - Link
This song feels really emotional, and always gives me goosebumps. I love the vocals, and the chorus is really special too, because leading up to the climax is an epic sequence, which makes it even better to listen to. I often find versions of this song which have been pitch-changed to avoid copyright, but I like it in its original form best.
OP - heavenly blue - Kalafina - Link
I actually prefer the opening to the second season, but both are nice and fit the series well. The lyrics to this one particularly fit Asseylum in my opinion. It's nice sounding, and I do like Kalafina a lot. The choiry bit at the start is an excellent lead up into Kalafina's beautiful vocals, and as usual, their chorus is catchy, and has a very pretty sound to it.
OP - EXTRA MAGIC HOUR - AKINO with bless4 - Link
I'm not this song's greatest fan, except the chorus is pretty amazing. I much prefer the vocals in the chorus - the rest I thought was a little breathy, which personally I'm not fond of. Still a very strong OP which fits the show nicely.
OP 1 - My Soul, Your Beats - Lia - Link
A really emotional song which fits the anime perfectly. I particularly love the animation of Tenshi playing the piano - it's in time, so it looks great, and as the music swells, it always gives me goosebumps when alongside the lovely animation, and you can see how into the music Tenshi is which is just beautiful.
OP 2 - My Soul, Your Beats - LiSA - Link
The more rock-ish version of the same song - I love LiSA's vocals too, and it has the same ebb and flow as the other (just with a less gentle background), so can't say much more about this one.
OP - PUNCH☆MIND☆HAPPINESS - Happy Clover (The guys who are voicing the main characters sing this) - Link
This song PERFECTLY fits the show. It's cute, a little bit hyper, and the visuals behind it are really funny. It also has catchy parts, like the chorus. Very nice OP.
OP - Kyoumu Densen - ALI PROJECT - Link
I really like the sound of ALI PROJECT's music too. It's a perfect fit for this anime - it has a pretty minor key, so it emphasises the creepy/horror aspect of the show. It always got me in the mood for another episode! In general, I prefer the full version of this song (as is usually the case).
Sorry this link is so quiet, I couldn't find a better one.
OP - Embrace Blade - Afilia Saga - Link
On the whole, idol OPs aren't my favourite, but this was one catchy song, and fit the story well too.
ED - Calling my Twilight - Kanako Itou - Link
Kanako Itou is one of my favourite J-artists and this track is no exception. I loved the way it always ended the show in the same way and it's so epic! Great vocals as usual.
OP 2 - Uzu to Uzu - NICO Touches the Walls - Link
The introduction to this song is SO awesome. It fit Arslan Senki really well and I highly preferred it to the first OP. I like NICO a lot too, so that helps. Vocals are great also.
ED 1 - Lapis Lazuli - Eir Aoi - Link
I actually preferred this song to both OPs. I love Eir Aoi's voice and it's a pretty epic song overall. It also suits the nature of the show.
OP - Tsubasa - Eir Aoi - Link
A suitably upbeat and bouncy song for the greatness that is Arslan Senki. Again, I love her voice, and the song goes nicely with the anime.
ED - blaze - Kalafina - Link
As always, Kalafina's vocals are flawless. I love their songs, even this one that has less of a choral feel than say, To The Beginning.
OP 1 - QUESTION - 3-nen E-gumi Utatan Link
This is a really, really catchy opening. I love the lyrics, and I also enjoy the fact that it's sung by cast members - call it a pet love of mine. If there is such a thing. :3 it fits the series well - it has semi-serious lyrics, but a fun and punchy beat (a pretty hilarious, lighthearted show with pretty important themes behind it and some serious moments).
OP 2 - Bye Bye Yesterday - 3-nen E-gumi Utatan - Link
Another really catchy OP for Ass Class. My second-favourite after QUESTION. Great vocals and an amazing beat.
OP 1 - Guren no Yumiya - Linked Horizon Link
My less preferred opening of the two, but still a great song to start the series off. It's the less dark and action-sounding (that's a thing) opening but it still has the right feel to it, with a pretty epic climax.
OP 2 - Jiyuu no Tsubasa - Linked Horizon Link
So, as I said, this is my favourite opening tune out of the two. It's a lot darker and has a more minor pitch. The climax of the song gives me goosebumps, and I listen to this regularly on my phone.
OP - Seishun wa Hanabi no You ni - Linked Horizon Link
The perfect opening for a parody show, performed by the same guys and in a similar style (but more light and bouncy) to the OPs of Shingeki no Kyojin. A good choice, and a funny one too.
OP - Gun's and Roses - Paradise Lunch - Link
Another!! great instrumental OP. Really fits with the show's setting. I love this track so much.
OP 1 - stable staple - Chiwa Saito - Link
Not my favourite character, or my favourite OP, but it's worth a mention because it's fairly catchy and I love the chorus part.
OP 4 - Ren'ai Circulation - Kana Hanazawa - Link
Nadeko and Kana's voice are so CUTE! I like this one, it's quite catchy, but still not my favourite. I actually watched a video of Kana performing this song live and it was great too.
OP 5 - Sugar Sweet Nightmare - Yui Horie - Link
This song is super catchy and probably my favourite of Bakemonogatari overall. I love Yui's voice.
OP - Rashisa - SUPER BEAVER - Link
A catchy song which fits the show nicely.
OP - Kyoukai no Kanata - Minori Chihara - Link
I really like Minorin's vocals, and this song gives me feels every time I listen to it. It's fantastic, and the animation alongside it is yummy too. Minori is one of my favourite artists, if not my top favourite, so I'm heavily biased in my love of this song.
OP - Hello, World! - Bump of Chicken - Link
This is in contention for my favourite anime opening tune of all time. I love the vocal sound, and the lyrics are just amazing. The soft sound definitely adds to the amazing climaxes in the song. I love this song and opening so much I'm kind of having a hard time expressing it in words.
ED - Sugar Song to Bitter Step - Unison Square Garden - Link
This song has no business being so catchy! It fits Kekkai Sensen really well and the animation at the end is hilarious and cute. Really nice beat and vocals.
OP 1 - BRYNHILDR IN THE DARKNESS -Ver. EJECTED- - Nao Tokisawa - Link
I think I'm in the minority of people who preferred this OP to the one by Fear & Loathing. But honestly, dubstep-ish style OP? Awesome! The violin and choral parts behind it are pretty awesome too. It's something a little different and works nicely.
OP - Trash Candy - GRANRODEO - Link
I like GRANRODEO and this song is no exception. The rock-y instrumental parts combined with the great vocals is great and this song is quite upbeat which fit Bungou really well.
ED - Namae wo Yobu yo - Luck Life - Link
This guy has a beautiful voice, and this is a gorgeous song. I adored the animation that came along with it on the ED too.
OP - Bravely You - Lia - Link
Another Lia song makes it onto this list - her vocals aren't my favourite, but she sure knows how to make a song's climax give me goosebumps. The key is also always really nice, and has a nice sound. I think the song fits the show pretty well. It's very KEY. Not my favourite song but it is catchy.
OP - YOUTHFUL - 99RadioService - Link
I love the vocals of this guy. It's a very catchy song and it fit Chihayafuru nicely. Sadly it was the only song I really liked, but the BGM in this show was also epic.
Background music -
OP - Identity - Mikio Sakai - Link
I love the style of this song, and it's super catchy. Interesting vocals too.
ED - Haramitsu Renka - ALI PROJECT - Link
Okay, so my love for ALI PROJECT is probably known by now. Of course I'll love another of their songs. Couldn't find the full version anywhere but in Nightcore form, so...sorry!
OP - Sparkling Daydream - ZAQ - Link
Not the best quality link, sorry, but was hard to find the full version.
A great and catchy song that fits the anime nicely.
OP - VOICE - ZAQ - Link
Another really catchy and cute OP. I love parts of this, but not others. Anyway, ZAQ's vocals are pretty good and I do like the song.
OP - ClassicaLoid: ClassicaLoid no Theme - Link
Yay! Another instrumental OP! ^_^ I love this. It's so catchy and well put-together I could just listen to it forever.
OP - Cobalt - TrySail - Link
The beat of this song is so great, I love the vocals and I love the chorus too. Not a group I've heard a lot by but I really enjoyed this song.
OP 1 - COLORS - FLOW - Link
What the heck was the second opening?! It made me really sad. I liked the first opening a lot. The vocals and instrumental parts both are great. It's a fairly memorable song for me.
ED 1 - Yuukyou Seishunka - ALI PROJECT - Link
I freaking LOVE ALI PROJECT and this song was no exception. It's fast-paced, their usual minor key too. Epicness.
OP 2 - WORLD END - FLOW - Link
I do like FLOW's vocals, they always sound great. Another good song by them which is fairly catchy and memorable.
ED 2 - Waga Routashi Aku no Hana - ALI PROJECT - Link
Another great ED by ALI PROJECT. It's quite similar to ED2 of the first season, so I got a bit confused between the two of them.
OP - The Seed and the Sower - fhana - Link
I love, love love fhana's voice and vocal range. It's pretty high, and often I prefer a lower key or a minor scale, but fhana's voice is so beautiful. It lends a great quality to every song she sings. A really pretty opening to a disappointment of an anime.
OP 1 - Wareru Doukoku - ZAQ - Link
This song is super catchy and the climax is epic. Really like this one. ZAQ's good vocals as usual and a good backing track too.
OP - Tank! - The Seatbelts - Link
I can think of no better opening to Cowboy Bebop than this song. The jazzy tones fit the show so well, with it being a sort of noir theme. Great and catchy song which is also very memorable.
OP - Futten Toppa☆LOVE IS POWER☆ - Chikyuu Bouei-bu (cast) - Link
No more fitting song for this show was ever had. Cast members singing parts in an upbeat, a little cheesy and fabulous song.
