Best anime music ♪

My favourite and the most memorable openings, endings and background music in anime. I will name the artist, song and attempt to put a link to each song in the description. Please bear in mind that links may be dead (YouTube tends to delete a lot of the videos I use) and it would be very difficult to keep track of them all. Currently squishing dead links and trying to add to the list little by little. DISCLAIMER: all of my lists only contain entries from anime I’ve seen or am watching, usually I enter them when I’m finished with them for clarity.

1		07-Ghost OP - Aka no Kakera - Suzuki Yuki -Link Got me hyped every episode. ED - Hitomi no Kotae - Noria -Link Such a pretty song! Has a nostalgic kind of feeling to it. Shoutout to the BGM. It's unique and memorable. Here is a playlist.
2		11eyes OP - Arrival of Tears - Ayane - Link Great OP, mediocre anime.
3		91 Days ED - Rain or Shine - ELISA - Link The instruments used in this song and even ELISA's voice really fits the time period the anime is set in, it feels like the kind of song that might play in a speakeasy or classy bar or club in the '20s. Also, the BGM is really well-done and perfectly fits the time period of the show. Enjoy!
4		Absolute Duo OP - Absolute Soul - Konomi Suzuki - Link Very catchy, and I love Konomin's vocals.
5		ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. OP - Shadow and Truth - ONE III NOTES - Link This is so chilled out, but has a modern vibe alongside the jazzy sound. ED - Pale Moon ga Yureteru - Aira Yuuki - Link Such a pretty tune. The BGM deserves a mention too. So chill and unique!
6		Actually, I Am… OP - Himitsu wo Choudai - Ars Magna - Link This song is so upbeat and happy.
7		A Destructive God Sits Next to Me OP - Take mo' Chance - all at once - Link Very catchy. ED - FREEDOM de Muda ni Muteki!! - AOP - Link Super cute and fits the show really well. Only thing is it sounds a bit like a cute girls doing cute things song and that's the opposite of the anime. :')
8		Ajin: Demi-Human OP - Yoru wa Nemureru kai? - flumpool - Link One of my all time favourites. I love me some J-rock and flumpool do such a good job on everything here. ED - HOW CLOSE YOU ARE - Miyano Mamoru - Link This song is a really nice, slow and melancholy one.
9		Ajin: Demi-Human 2nd Season OP - Boku wa Boku de Atte - angela x fripside - Link Prefer season 1 OP, but liked this one too. angela's voice is great!
10		Akame ga Kill! OP 1 - Skyreach - Sora Amamiya - Link Love the chorus! OP 2 - Liar Mask - Rika Mayama - Link My favourite of the two. Super catchy.
11		Aldnoah.Zero OP - heavenly blue - Kalafina - Link I always love Kalafina songs.
12		Aldnoah.Zero 2nd Season OP - &Z - SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:mizuki - Link This song always gives me goosebumps.
13		Amagi Brilliant Park OP - EXTRA MAGIC HOUR - AKINO with bless4 - Link The chorus is my favourite part, but overall it's a great and fun song that fits the anime!
14		Angel Beats! OP 1 - My Soul, Your Beats - Lia - Link A really emotional song which fits the anime perfectly. I think I like this version better. OP 2 - My Soul, Your Beats - LiSA - Link Not the biggest LiSA fan (sorry) but I like the song.
15		Anne-Happy OP - PUNCH☆MIND☆HAPPINESS - Happy Clover - Link This song PERFECTLY fits the show. Super cute.
16		Another OP - Kyoumu Densen - ALI PROJECT - Link I love AP, and this opening fits Another really well, super creepy vibes.
17		Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon OP - Embrace Blade - Afilia Saga - Link Nice vocals on this track. ED - Calling my Twilight - Itou Kanako - Link I'm an Itou Kanako stan, sorrynotsorry. Love her voice so much and this song has such a great grunge/house vibe.
18		Antique Bakery OP - Life goes on ~side K~ - CHEMISTRY - Link Very catchy! ED - Life goes on ~side D~ - CHEMISTRY - Link A more chilled version of the above. Lovely vocals as well.
19		Ascendance of a Bookworm OP - Masshiro - Moroboshi Sumire - Link Beautiful vocals. ED - Kamikazari no Tenshi - Nakajima Megumi - Link Something a bit different. Love the strings! It's cute but not too much.
20		Assassination Classroom OP 1 - Seishun Satsubatsu-ron - 3-nen E-gumi Utatan - Link I love all of the openings of this show to death. They're so upbeat and crazy and catchy. OP 2 - Jiriki Hongan Revolution - 3-nen E-gumi Utatan - Link Prolly my least favourite of the four, but still love it.
21		Assassination Classroom 2nd Season OP 1 - QUESTION - 3-nen E-gumi Utatan Link So fun and catchy. My favourite of the four. OP 2 - Bye Bye Yesterday - 3-nen E-gumi Utatan - Link My second-favourite opening.
22		Attack on Titan OP 1 - Guren no Yumiya - Linked Horizon Link Love LH and the choir parts behind their vocals are awesome. OP 2 - Jiyuu no Tsubasa - Linked Horizon Link So much of this feels like a national anthem, which fits the show so well.
23		Attack on Titan: Junior High OP - Seishun wa Hanabi no You ni - Linked Horizon Link Still love Linked Horizon, and the bells are a nice touch. This is more lighthearted but still sounds so epic.
24		B-PROJECT OP - Kodou*Ambitious - B-Project - Link Super catchy! ED - Hoshi to Tsuki no Sentence - Kitakore - Link My favourite unit of the show, singing one of my favourite songs from the show. :D
25		Baccano! OP - Gun's and Roses - Paradise Lunch - Link Memorable and iconic! Love instrumental openings and this one totally fits the music style from the anime's setting.
26		Bakemonogatari OP 1 - stable staple - Chiwa Saito - Link Not my favourite character, or my favourite OP, but has a great chorus! OP 4 - Ren'ai Circulation - Kana Hanazawa - Link Super adowable! OP 5 - Sugar Sweet Nightmare - Yui Horie - Link This song is super catchy and probably my favourite of Bakemonogatari overall. I love Yui's voice. This is another one of my all-time favourite anime songs.
27		Barakamon OP - Rashisa - SUPER BEAVER - Link A catchy song which fits the show nicely.
28		Beyond the Boundary OP - Kyoukai no Kanata - Minori Chihara - Link One of my favourites. I love Minorin's voice so much. ED - Daisy - STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION - Link Love this too, great vocals and very memorable.
29		Black Lagoon OP - Red Fraction - MELL - Link A very catchy song. Fits the show. ED - Don't Look Behind - EDISON - Link Such a sombre and dark song.

31		Blood Blockade Battlefront OP - Hello, World! - Bump of Chicken - Link Love! Might be my very favourite anime opening. ED - Sugar Song to Bitter Step - Unison Square Garden - Link This is such a bop.
32		Bloodivores OP - NENTEN - Mili - Link A really catchy song. Here is the original Chinese version. ED - quiet squall - siraph - Link A quiet and melancholic song. Super pretty.
33		Blue Exorcist OP 1 - CORE PRIDE - UVERworld - Link I really love the drums and sax at the start of this song. It's quite catchy too. ED 1 - Take off - 2PM - Link I love K-Pop, so this one was an obvious choice. ^_^ OP 2 - IN MY WORLD - ROOKieZ is PUNK'D - Link Another catchy song. Really nice guitar part too.
34		Brynhildr in the Darkness OP 1 - BRYNHILDR IN THE DARKNESS -Ver. EJECTED- - Nao Tokisawa - Link Instrumental openings are great and I like dubstep/house music. Liked this more than the second OP.
35		Bungo Stray Dogs OP - Trash Candy - GRANRODEO - Link I like GRANRODEO and this song is no exception. ED - Namae wo Yobu yo - Luck Life - Link This guy has a beautiful voice, and this is a gorgeous song. A shoutout to the BGM also. Very unique. Has Durarara vibes but not really comparable to anything I've heard. Eye of the Tiger is my favourite track.
36		Bungo Stray Dogs 2nd Season OP - Reason Living - SCREEN Mode - Link Think I like this OP better than seasin 1's OP. Very catchy! ED - Kaze ga Fuku Machi - Luck Life - Link Again, I love this guy's voice. A really pretty song.
37		Bungo Stray Dogs 3rd Season OP - Setsuna no Ai - GRANRODEO - Link One of those songs which grew on me. Wasn't a massive fan at first but the more I listened the more I began to think it might be my favourite BSD OP of all!

40		Chaos;HEAd OP - F.D.D - Itou Kanako - Link Love me some Itou Kanako. ED - Super Special - Seira Kagami - Link A bit different, nice lyrics and vocals.
41		Charlotte OP - Bravely You - Lia - Link Very popular song and quite catchy.
42		Cheer Boys!! OP - Hajime no Ippo - Luck Life - Link A fun and fairly fast-paced catchy song. ED - LIMIT BREAKERS - BREAKERS (the cast) - Link GO FIGHT WIN!
43		Chihayafuru OP - YOUTHFUL - 99RadioService - Link I love the vocals of this guy. It's a very catchy song and it fit Chihayafuru nicely. Sadly it was the only song I really liked, but the BGM in this show was also epic. BGM is some of my favourite too. The Main Theme is so good!

48		Code:Breaker OP - DARK SHAME - GRANRODEO - Link Super catchy, I love GRANRODEO anyway. ED - Shiroi Karasu - Suzumura Kenichi - Link I might like this more than the OP actually. Really easy to listen to and gorgeous vocals. The OST is also worth a mention, I especially love the piece called A Battle of Unusual Talent.
49		Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion OP 1 - COLORS - FLOW - Link Love me some FLOW. Always very catchy! ED 1 - Yuukyou Seishunka - ALI PROJECT - Link Big AP love. This is one of my favourites and listening to it gives me a massive nostalgia hit.
50		Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 OP 2 - WORLD END - FLOW - Link FLOW's music is always such a mood-lifter. ED 2 - Waga Routashi Aku no Hana - ALI PROJECT - Link Very catchy. Love the use of instruments and the fast pace.
