Story: First of all, let me ask you this: Do you know what Bubblegum Crisis is? In italics because this is a very important question. Now, assuming you do, because I assume you to be a just person and not a total slacker who hasn't seen it and is watching an OVA on it because some douche said you should watch it, then you can tell me how it relates to said Bubblegum Crisis because I have no idea what a Crisis of Bubblegums is. I mean, I thought I did but I am confident the shit I'm thinking of is not the shit that should be the main series of this shit (Shit being subjective). Looking it up, I am correct... Afro-ken

Sep 21, 2011

Story: Um.... what? There's this dog, right? He has a 'fro. And he's called Afro-Ken, as in "afro dog". And there are these other dogs, they have names like that or something. And there are minute segments of Afro-ken being food, trees or something that changes his 'fro. Yup. That's about it. It's just that and has pretty much no plot whatsoever. I just gave it a point for there being an interview for some reason. Animation: I've seen worse. Lot worse at the time of it's watching. The dogs were varied and the 'fros always get some points from me. It will never win any points for having good... See full review

Afro Samurai

Nov 27, 2010

Afro Samurai is made up of 30% action, 33% style, 30% badass and 7% everything else. It's main purpose is to show how awesome Afro is, and nothing more than that. Straight up, this is a tale of revenge; Justice kills Afro's father and Afro goes for revenge. That right there is the story. There are flashbacks to Afro as a child to give him more depth, but that's pretty much it. Unfortunately, Justice doesn't appear much, but it is mostly about Afro journey to get revenge, so that probably explains it. It's also a mix of modern technology and samurai-era weaponry, which works quite well. The battles are... See full review

Afro Samurai Resurrection

Nov 28, 2010

The only reason to watch this is because you enjoyed the original and want more stylish badass action, violence, and more style. Come in with the same expectations as the first and you'll most likely enjoy it all the same. Expect more than that and the flaws will glare back at you in distain as you would do to them. It's more of the same, except now Afro has the Number 1 Headband he got from Ron Perlman (Justice) at the finale of the original. In a nutshell, Afro is in solitude after getting the headband but loses said headband to Lady Sio and needs to get it back as well as stop her plans. That's pretty... See full review

Ai Mai Mii

May 9, 2013

Story/Characters: I don't really know how to go about this. The story is "Manga, manga, manga- Hold the fuck up, what's with this manga shit? Fuck that shit, let me drop some random scenario and we animate that instead of something that seems like actual plot." It literally throws manga out the window (Like plot) and returns to it right at the end (Think Seikon no Qwaser II but with significantly less tits, milk and sexual deviancy). "But it's 3 minutes and an episodic web series! Go easy on it you hardass!" Yes yes, that is true, so I can't grade it on dropping a douche on it's... See full review

Alice in Borderland

Feb 5, 2016

And a bloody good start it is, because I love the shit out of the manga. The everloving crap out of it. So they would have had to make this all CGI, unfaithful and make it look like absolute fucking shit for me to hate it. Fortunately, there is no shitty ass CGI (That I remember), it's faithful, and it looks good. And looks faithful to it, complete with horse head mask, which would have looked great in a suit but packs quite a punch. Straight up, boners for survival games. That is my sub-genre of anime/manga: death games. This has killer hide and seek, more killer hide-and-seek, a killer... kinda like a... See full review

Alice in the Country of Hearts: Wonderful Wonder World

Mar 24, 2015

Yet another DTAB Shitfest Story: "The fuck is going on?" and it's similiar profane questioning statements at whatever the fuck was going on appeared many times, as some kind of fuckery beyond my understanding went on before my eyes. As elevators go to different worlds (?), clocks and cages in a grandfather clock- I mean, a big... cloc- uh, what? Shit man, it made no fucking sense. But it goes to an amusement park (Childhood and being young and innocent until the circus because everybody knows circuses/Carnivale are evil) where shit happens, to a mansion or castle where shit occurs and to a... Angel Beats!

Jan 6, 2011

I can't remember why or when I wanted to watch Angel Beats! but I do remember enjoying it quite a bit. If I wanted to watch it, it would probably have been for the animation, as this is a treat for the eyes; it has to be one if not the best anime I've ever seen visual-wise. Everything looks so... polished and different from the usual stuff, like a tiger among cats; sure the cats look good, but that tiger is in a class of it's own who will tear those other cats apart. So, so gorgeous. The sound is great all-around but I must mention the beautiful OP. I love how the piano doesn't stop, how it can still be... See full review

Warning: This review will contain spoilers of some of the complete mind fuckery that goes on in this shit. Mental scarring should be accompanied by screams of agony and pain as the images assault your feeble mind. The screenshots on the site are censored for your viewing displeasure. You have been warned. Story: Mental scarring in a bit, the plot is really quite simple: This guy, badass on his own with his pimp uniform, gets this totally kickass armour that allows him to kick even more ass: The Zero armour, because things and people called Zero are so righteously badass. Arata the Legend

Sep 1, 2013

Story: I don't like this show so I'll throw in as much tastefully foul language and references to male private parts as possible while remaining my usually coherent self. Now, it isn't solely due to the pussy protagonist who is as manly as a sack of air and candy bar wrappers or the fact that I couldn't give a rat's ass about what was going on or how his arch nemesis Douchefuck is a complete and utter douchebag, not all of those but all are part of the many, many problems of this cliched shitstorm. I guess I better start off somewhere, as in the premise. I'll be spoiling some shit, but it's kinda... See full review

Asa Made Jugyou Chu!

Mar 5, 2013

Story: It starts off with a guy in bed with a busty woman. There. That should be it for plot because at that point, five seconds in, you wouldn't even give two shits of a rat fuck about plot. But it shows the plot as she crawls onto him, squeezes him and out pops her puppies. It's that kind of OVA. Obviously high in logic, you then get your plot: A guy who sounds like a girl, looks like a girl, acts like a girl by being a pansy but is really a guy, gets a scholarship to the school by being so girly. Because of a blunder by his buxom teacher, or the buxom teacher responsible for room assignments, because... See full review

Baby Princess 3D Paradise 0 [Love]

Sep 28, 2016

What a candy ass title. Must be a good show. Story: This OVA reminds me of two shows, one of them shit and the other borderline criminal. Their names are irrelevant (Brothers Conflict and Mujaki no Rakuen respectively). The first because it's the same premise but gender reversed so now it's the dude living the life of having all these hot babes and younger girls as sisters with a total milf who should appear way more; and the second because all the younger sisters absolutely... Baccano!

Jan 6, 2011

Straight up, this is a mish mash of genres: crime, comedy, drama, suspense, action and probably a few more. Something for nearly everybody and all those ingredients in the end form a decadent cake that may be brief but tastes delicious. The ambient jazz goes perfectly for your meal, but more on that later. It takes place in the 1930's and this is probably the first anime I've seen set in that period. I don't know much about the '30s so I don't know if alchemy or immortals were commonplace back then. But you can bet that makes it more fun; even if it was just mafia and Issac and Maria, it would still be... See full review

Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts 2

Nov 7, 2011

Story: Baka to Test was never big on plot, and the second season is no different. Starting off with a pair of beach episodes and a festival, then moving to an onsen that begins to feature some of the Shoukanjuu, and finally moving back to the school setting for... stuff. Do I care that the plot isn't particularly good or memorable? Hell no! I just care about the comedy and events that lead up to comedy irregardless of actual plot or depth and it delivers the comedy from the first season in spades, mileage may vary. The same jokes get reused here and I still found them enjoyable. It's easy to see how... See full review

Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts OVA

Apr 4, 2011

Baka to Test; it may be stupid but it's at the point of being stupidly fun without moving into annoying and this OVA is no different. As the synopsis states, it's an adaptation of the Festival arc in the manga. It's recommended that one watches the first season before watching the OVA as to not miss out on some of the references to events seen in the first season. You don't have to, as this is simple minded fun and can be enjoyed without knowing what happened before (And that the first season was pretty episodic at times). But it's recommended nonetheless as it would be a shame to miss out on the fun of... See full review

Story: Science all up in this bitch, which is kinda... what do you call it? Fucked up or complete opposites, a total ball puncher, what? Whatever, I'll get to it. First, science. Against the Theory of Conceptual Awesome or TOCA, which dictates that a badass/awesome concept is instantly awesome and warrants awesome points no matter how shitty it is overall and for everything else. Ben-To

LETS GET IT! LETS GET IT! LETS GET IT LETS GET IT LETS GO! Story: It's about people fighting over discounted Bentos. That's it. That's the entire premise of this Serious Business show, and it works. While the plot is mainly non-existant apart from some token boss battle arcs, it works as a comedy over any dramatic moments it may toss to the viewer. The fights are fast and exciting, with fists flying, jiggling, kicks and aerial assaults of awesome. It's easily a highlight of the show and it has to be, to make up for the plot and being the plot. Story It is about a group of buxom, nubile, female warrior vixens who are scantily clad. Do you want more? Hm. I guess it's technically about a Fighter, sexy Paladin, best Magician and dark elf... warrior/mage hybrid, I guess. She isn't really a magic knight as she- wait, she might be classified as one because since she's using magic, she can't wear heavy armor and I guess her armor is light enough and revealing enough to not interfere with her magic while still using a sword. Starts off with a girl and a boy, about to swap spit when OH SHIT A KILLER LEAPS OUT AND KILLS THE BOYFRIEND! Right in the fucking head. With an axe. That pretty much sets the tone for the rest of this hilarious bloodfest, which is about blood. And some nice decorations, but mostly blood and stupidity. Bloody Night

Story: A girl is chased by a red monster. Thing. Animation: Looks quite unpolished to Dat Ass Pussycat with the constant rape face pig (Obligatory mention) and Chainsaw Maid, both of which are superior to it in anything that isn't related to blood. Excusing those two superior, vastly sexier claymation shorts, Bloody Night features shitloads of blood. I mean, I never expected people to bleed that much! Story: Long story short, it's about a 30 year old bachelor who adopts a six year old girl named Rin. Those are roughly the ages but a simple premise leads to one of the most heartwarming and adorable series I've ever had the pleasure to watch. It's strictly slice-of-life and doesn't devaite from it with any fancy, wacky sci-fi fantasy whatever elements, and since it's just everyday stuff, it should be tame and boring but it's fun and so endearing that it's captivating. He's making it rain like Lil' Wayne up this motherfucker! Fucking raining swords and there's more swords than anything else in that shot. Cat Soup

Cat Soup can be summed up as "What the *%@$". The art is odd-ball and bizzaro, there's no dialogue, no script, hardly any developed characters (Strange ones at that) and that's not even touching the "plot". The point of Cat Soup isn't about the plot but the journey; the places you will go and the people you'll meet, as messed up and crazy as they are. There's the elephant made of water, the pig that is cruelly taken apart (It gets worse), the man with the mask and spiked speedo and everything else. Obviously this is high on plot, and the title only goes to further it, and obviously everything after the striptease is a load of shit, which this would be if it weren't so unintentionally hilarious. The violence is righteously over the top, senseless and chainsaw-fueled, for extreme gore and extremely questionable fun. "Story/Characters"  There is... The synopsis is massively wrong. There is not plot. The first 5 minutes are a music video for New York City. There is a trailer for a movie called Winning Tough which is something the main character is in, as some nerd playing football and getting his glasses knocked off a lot. Then an interview and maybe a bit of his past with his mother, brother, maybe some incest and all to the tune of a film noir 80s vibe. Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland

Story: As the title implies, it's a Code Geass x Alice in Wonderland crossover. Yeah. It uh... does the story well, some changes here and there... to be frank, I stopped giving a damn when booty butt Fawn came on screen. It's fine and dandy and Lelouch's brotherly love for his sister is entertaining as the narrator but I don't know. I expected something... more. Grand narmy theatrics, more than walk-on characters, just more. Animation: Dat ass. I ain't kidding, Shirley as a Fawn had one fine ass. It's so noticable that I could barely read the subtitles.
