See full reviewI'm actually really surprised at how good this anime was despite the ratings. It's really cute with likeable characters. There's no real antagonist, which is actually refreshing for once. No unneccesary drama, just a bunch of goofy moments that never failed to make me chuckle. Even the filler dialogues were enjoyable to watch and seeing the fans' unconditional love for a n undedicated idol was touching. The ambition of Asahi's passion was admirable, and Yuya's carefree personality was relatable. I really enjoyed this show and wished there was an extra two episodes!
See full reviewIt was a lovely story about the dependence of others. It speaks a lot of how important relationships are, even if they are simply memories. The movie showcased an adorable bond between Shiva and 'Teacher' as they relied on each other's company in the lonesome world. Parenthood helped Teacher overcome his negativite aspect in life and revealed a new purpose to continue on. He was willing to do anything for her and considered her opinions on his actions. Their relationship together was very endearing, seeing how much they cared for each other. The ending and beginning is very confusing... See full review
I was really intrigued with the soundtrack, "A Million Miles Away." It's such a beautiful song, you don't need context to feel and know the emotions it's conveying. Now that I've watched the movie, it's truly heart-wrenching. Not much can be fit into a 2 hour movie, but I'd say the pacing of it was very fast for me. Especially the supposed 'romance' part that was blooming between Belle and the Beast. I did not feel a development from any of them at all, so I found it very odd that Belle was so quick to act on progressing their relationship. There are a lot of issues within this movie that could... See full review
Man, this got me crying, laughing, and then crying again. The first episode already feels like a whole damn movie. I've been hooked ever since then. It definitely holds character development, our protagonist Fushi goes through. I feel like a parent watching my child grow and it's honestly heartwarming, knowing he is able to become more independent throughout the show. I am excited for S2 and how he continues to learn. I'm just mad because Hayase's legacy of being a weird stalker fangirl will still exist. But the pros of the show outweigh the cons.
See full reviewI was afraid to watch this at first but the story behind it is very interesting. It's very utopia-esque. I was almost going to drop it at first due to the lack of interest in the beginning (and literally no dialogue within the first few minutes) but it most definitely intrigued me along the way. I am disappointed that the season left off in such a weird area as I am very much still curious of what is bound to happen next! I might as well just read the manga instead.
See full reviewI'm in love. That's all I can say. I highly recommend this as it really captivated my attention, despite being based off of another pre-existing story. I loved all of the characters and how everything was so smooth story-wise. I'm a big fan and I hate to say that I'm finished with both seasons. </3
See full reviewI've never been a big fan of vampires but the character designs and animations from the trailers really intrigued me! I love the concept and story so far but my biggest issue is the weird personalities that the main characters have. In the OP, it shows Noe being all friendly and Vanitas annoyed of his bubbly presence. But in the anime so far, it is very much quite the opposite. I don't know if there is a relationship development where Noe becomes more comfortable with Vanitas' quirkiness, but that's not my main issue. Vanitas is a REAL WEIRDO. It's quite well-known at the start due to his grand... See full review
episode 14 was such a speedrun and there were NO animated fight scenes LMFAOOO it was such trash, i'm sorry. i can't help but laugh. i was so excited for no reason </3
See full reviewI see a lot of people complaining about the animation but honestly I think the whole story board or "stuck" animation suits it very well. It has a certain charm to it. It did bother me at first but you gotta accept it wholeheartedly and not compare it to other animes. The story and comedy to this is very appealing and makes up for the lack of movement. I enjoyed watching it and would recommend this to anyone who simply wants something funny to watch!
See full reviewI mean, yeah great song. But why is it here on Anime Planet??
See full reviewThe animation is probably one of the best thing about this short anime. I'm actually kind of sad there are only three episodes, tbh. It's so smooth, rendered beautifully, and pays attention to detail. I would honestly stare at just the animated scenes all day! However, the plot is fairly basic - it's like Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, and Stranger Things had a threesome love child. I'm a sucker for witches, London, and anything fantasy related so it fit the bill for me. The character designs both visually and personality-wise weren't the greatest. Noel had like zero personality and Ninny shined the most... See full review
One of my favorite animes of all time. I love the characters and how the comedy is introduced to the viewers. Big fan of underdogs rising up and proving others of their worth. Because they really are worth it!!! I hope it continues to produce more content!
See full reviewI really liked this anime. The first episode is great; get to see the life of an underdog drastically change. I was surprised that this is a heavy sausage fest. Most of the cast are male. Not that I'm complaining though. The protagonists are young and from what I can tell, he may possibly have a relationship with that kitsune girl. I used to like romance but things have changed. I find it as a big cock block towards the progression of the story and what the protagonist really wants - which is to identify his parents in this case. But considering he's only 13 currently in the anime, I'm sure it won't... See full review
I thought this was gonna be another shit sports anime where the wimpy protagonist meets a super cool epic, too-good-to-be-true foreigner who moves into his class that's hella good at skateboarding. And it is. Almost. But exceeded my expectations. Reki is no wimp; he's very hard-working, passionate, intelligent, and understanding. Langa, the foreigner, is very talented. But he still has his flaws and I can appreciate that in a character that may appear "OP". I love the diversity of characters and they have good chemistry with each other. The first episode HOOKS you in right away and I was excited... See full review
It's the opening for me. Cause whatever that is, ain't it.
See full reviewIsekai Cheat Magician may sound interesting at first glance. If you're familiar with the isekai genre, it is an interesting and overused concept. You can either play the cards right and make it into a great experience for the audience or screw it all up and label your whole brand as "cliche" and "cringe." Isekai Cheat Magician really screwed it up on the first episode. I have a list of cons for this anime: - The beginning starts off with a war scene, which is not intense or interesting to watch at all. It's war, it should be intriguing but the scene is so basic. - The opening is... See full review
I sincerely love given with all of my heart! The characters are great and I'm loving them all. (EDIT: i wanted to correct myself previously as my future self found it offensive. </3 i wanted to instead say i don't care about the side relationships as, from my memory, they didn't really matter to the main story and were just fillers. also, screw mafuyu for doing his ex dirty like that. man, rip.)
Mafuyu's singing was spontaneous! I was so surprised. Although, at first, I didn't see what was so "special" about his voice as Uenoyama said. They didn't describe what was so shocking about it, so I... See full review
I saw "Funny Moments" of this anime on YouTube and it looked so cute and hilarious! Even though I didn't understand them because I didn't understand the situation why they were acting that way. It's with cliched characters but it's anime, what else do we expect from it? I really love this series. :)
See full reviewOne of my favorite animes! It made me laugh the eyes out of my sockets. A story about a guy with many supernatural powers but hates it and is really asexual because of the side conditions of having supernatural powers? Sign me up!
See full reviewIt's a cute story. Guy saves merman from a river or something and he now lives in the guy's bathtub! The thing is the story is not really interesting and they cover that up with comedy. It's fine as long as it's funny for me I guess. :I But I don't reccomend it if you get bored easily. This just shows supernatural things wanting to know what Halloween is and bath bombs.
See full reviewIt's a nice cute lil' story about a Fujioshi friends with some dudes and dudettes. I'm a somewhat homophobic person but I enjoyed the series. It's filled with funny scenes and weird cliched Japanese manga scenes too. Such as a guy falling to the MC's overly-sized breasts. :I
See full reviewIt's a really cute story about grade school lovers and actually make it real when they grow older later in the manga. :/ But there are way too many cliches (I think) but that's fine, right? I can name some I remember if you want. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Anyways, watch/read this if you like drama, magic, and comedy. This series only has a dash of romance. That's because they're still youngsters.
See full review(Contains spoilers if you haven't read the manga or anime) I have watched this many times and I absolutely love it and all, but I just don't like how the anime left ME HANGING! (I haven't touched Fruits Baskets in a long time so I have forgotten their names.) Kyo transformed; Tohru went to go catch him, Akira was coming, Yuki didn't give a fvck about Kyo. I was so sad to see it end that way. I hate those "Happy-Go-Lucky" animes that suddenly turn dark. *cough* Magic Kyu *cough* After finding the manga in a manga app, I read where the anime left off. I was surprised the the gender... See full review
