If you enjoy Mitsudomoe you may also enjoy Kodomo no Jikan.  The two shows have a similar set-up and type of humor.  The shows both use a male teacher with three young girls who torment him using eichi humor.  Though Kodomo does have romantic elements from the children, that Mitsudome does not have.

kebabrulle kebabrulle says...

Both stories are almost identical, perverted kids with boob facination and a tendency to use an excessive amount of violence against their fresh, first virgin teacher.

Kodomo no Jikan is a bit more sexual and not only jokes. Except that the shows are pretty much the same. So if you love the one you'll like the other.

Tanum Tanum says...

If your a fan of the middle school echi you should definetlly watch this serie. Mitsudomoe is funnier, but they are verry similar in concept.

cassiesheepgirl cassiesheepgirl says...

Like pervy young kids terrorising their naive young male teachers? Then both Mitsudomoe and Kodomo no Jikan are for you! Though KnJ is a little higher up the wrongness scale when it comes to teacher-student relationships, both have a similar sort of style of humour.

Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts

Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts

Fumizuki Academy is divided into classes ranked based purely on ability; Class A has laptops, reclining seats and ultimate comfort whereas Class F has to settle for a rundown classroom with rotten cushions and rickety coffee tables. Akihisa Yoshii has recently taken the placement exam and finds himself relegated to the lowly Class F along with many of his friends, and they’re far from impressed with their draughty facilities. Luckily, not all is lost as at Fumizuki, classes can declare war on each other to swap rooms by fighting with summoned characters whose strength is based on the users' test scores. As they dream of escaping their decrepit circumstances, the ‘idiotic’ students of Class F will try whatever they can to reach the dizzy heights of Class A’s luxury, even if it means taking on the entire school in an all-out summoning war!

Both Mitsudomoe and Baka to Test are very funny and have much humor.

Both occur in a school environment.

yelizaveritas yelizaveritas says...

while Mitsudomoe is ecchi, Baka to Test only learns how to be. while Baka to Test has romantic elements, Mitsudomoe is too perverted for it. anyway, they have a similar set-up and type of humor, so you may enjoy both series

wolfangel87 wolfangel87 says...

In Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu and Mitsudomoe, the humor of the surrounding environment is a crucial part of both series engaging the plot and the characters.

Mailtiger Mailtiger says...

While both 'baka to test to shoukanju' & 'mitsudomoe' have unique plot they share many comic releif moments... apart from many differences such as 'mitsudomoe' is more episodic, more perverted both have many things in common such as 'unique characterization', 'non-logic funny moments etc., both these shows features 'idiotic weirdos' running all over the series but thats what made them more liking.... if you like one don't forget to try the other.... you will surely like the both.... ^_^

Hanamaru Kindergarten

Hanamaru Kindergarten

Tsuchida has just started working at the Hanamaru Kindergaten, and, as the first and only male teacher at the school, he’s particularly nervous. Unfortunately his first day doesn’t go quite as smoothly as planned as not only does Tsuchida turn up late, but then a small girl named Anzu claims that he hit on her in front of all the parents! Though he manages to initially clear up the misunderstanding, at the beginning of his second day, Anzu proclaims that she will be his bride and that her mother, Tsuchida’s senior in high school, is supporting them all the way! Now as Tsuchida attempts to become the best teacher he can be, he must also try and quell the rumors that he is dating Anzu, and maybe win the heart of the beautiful and kind, yet ultimately clueless, Yamamoto-sensei…

If you enjoy Mitsudome you may also enjoy Hanamaru Youchien.  The two shows have a similar set-up and type of humor.  The shows both use a male teacher with three young girls; and at least one girl puts him in situations that make him seems like a complete pervert.  Though Youchien does have romantic elements from the children, that Mitsudome does not have.

wolfangel87 wolfangel87 says...

If you are looking for cute fun series Mitsudomoe and Hanamaru Youchien are great for each other.  Each involving little kids each with their own unique personalities and sense of humor.  The male teachers are drawn into many humorous misunderstandings along the way, solely because of the kids around them.

Darkrystal Darkrystal says...

I like to think of Mitsudomoe as 'what happened when the kids in Hanamaru Youchien got older'. While Hanamaru only alludes to a more adult edge from time to time, Mitsudomoe goes all out, guns blazing, and nothing is sacred! Both shows focus on schoolgirls and the innapropriate situations they find themselves in, more often than not with the involvement of their slightly inept male teachers. So if you enjoyed one series, I'd recommend giving the other a try too!

Minami-ke

Minami-ke

Meet the Minami sisters, three girls living on their own and doing their best to make it through life's little snags and adventures. Kana, the middle sister, has far more energy than common sense; Chiaki, the youngest, is more reserved, but her sharp tongue and devious mind often cause trouble for others; and Haruka, the eldest, acts like a mother to the other two, is beautiful and kind, but has a fearsome stern streak. Together, no obstacle can stand in their way, be it school, romance, or even cooking.

Both series are about three sisters with different tempers and their random, everyday live.
However, unlike Minami-ke, Mitsudomoe is all about pervy things ^

Minami-ke and Mistsudomoe both struck me as very similiar anime when I first watched them. They have similar settings, character, plot and both are hilarious.

Three sisters with different personalities causing mischief and mayhem at school and at home. Mitsudomoe is more vulgar and in your face.

Lucky Star

Lucky Star

In present day Japan, the life of a school girl is never dull. The easily-bored Konata never finds time to study because of her otaku habits, which frustrates hard-working Kagami to no end. On the other hand, laid-back Tsukasa always manages to go with the flow, while Miyuki is concerned with keeping her status as resident know-it-all. Join these four girls as they muse and meander their way through everyday events such as eating chocolate cones, doing homework, gaming, and trips to the beach galore.

Kyou no 5 no 2 TV

Kyou no 5 no 2 TV

Ryouta is a typical elementary school boy in class 5-2. He likes hanging out with his friends, he plays guitar on his broom instead of cleaning the classroom and he’s more interested in whose Superball bounces the highest than seeing a girl’s panties or sneaking a peek at a dirty magazine. However Ryouta also has the unfortunate luck of often being caught in the most seemingly-perverted situations at the worst possible times. Still, amidst becoming the guru of the turn-on of a collarbone, Ryouta continues to live a normal day-to-day life; that is, as normal a life as a tormented pseudo-perverted schoolboy can!

Both anime take a look at young kids in school goofing off and being perverted. There isn't much more to say here. If you like that sort of wacky humour check either of these out.

Greenleaves666 Greenleaves666 says...

Both shows have elementary school kids as main character who behave like you would think elementary school kids would not, or atleast should not. Since both shows draw a lot of their jokes by having ecchi ideas told by children it becomes a whole lot funnier and at the same time you ask yourself "should they really say/do that"?

if you liked either, checking out the other sounds like a good idea, especially since they are both short and fast paced with lots of jokes in rapid succession!

Chu-Bra!!

Chu-Bra!!

While Nayu Hayama may be a middle school student, she has the fashion sense of an adult – at least, when it comes to lingerie. Unlike her other classmates, Nayu is an underwear fanatic and is highly knowledgeable about a girl’s changing body, the right fit for a bra and a variety of materials like lace and beads. Alongside her new friends the busty Haruka and flat-chested Yako, Nayu will spread her love of panties and even help form a club dedicated to researching ladies’ delicates!

Both anime have young kids being interested in peverted things while being at school. Chu-Bra tries harder to take its self seriously where Mitsudomoe is full on comedy. Check out one if you for some reason liked the other.

Chu-Bra!! And Mitsudomoe solely revolve around young kids enjoying quite perverted things.  Comedy ensues as the hilarious antics of the characters put each other in trying situations.

Seitokai Yakuindomo

Seitokai Yakuindomo

Once a popular all girls' school, Ousai Private Academy is now co-ed due to declining birth rates. Takatoshi Tsuda, a boy newly attending Ousai solely because of the proximity to his house, is quickly forced to become the student council vice president and male representative of the school by president Shino Amakusa. Now looked upon as nothing more than a filthy pig by his female peers, Takatoshi must cope with learning about a whole new side of the opposite gender, hearing plenty of dirty sex and period jokes along the way!

Both about a school filled with (mostly female) perverts. The jokes are mostly random and in quick succession of each other.

If you liked one, check out the other.

Disaster Disaster says...

Both revolve around the same kind of humour such as dirty sex jokes and misunderstandings (with sexual references). Mitsudomoe has a little bit more of a story to each joke while Seitokai Yakuindomo is more like one joke after another. Both may revolve around a school environment however elementary and high school are quite different. In both anime, the main characters are girls who happen to be perverted and there is one male character who is fed up with them.

I personally think Mitsudomoe is funnier and more well made but give the other a try if you've watched one of them.

Potemayo

Potemayo

Sunao decides to take care of Potemayo and takes her with him everywhere he goes, and as a result Potemayo quickly becomes popular with Sunao's classmates. However, the tranquility of the new friendship is broken with the arrival of another creature from Sunao's fridge – this time a scythe-wielding laser-shooting horned creature he dubs Guchuko. Now, every day brings new adventures and surprises with Potemayo and Guchuko around!
