Through accidental circumstances the main characters are dead and are brought back "alive" for the sole purpose of fighting zombie monsters. Both animes start off at a school, but as things progress they seem to spend less and less time there. Zombie Loan has more comedy and is generally more light hearted, while Red Garden is more on the serious side. But both have teenagers fighting zombies with inhuman abilities

Tokko

Tokko

Ranmaru is a young cop with a dark past. As one of the few survivors of a mindless slaughter in his apartment block, he joins a special unit called TOKKI to avenge his parents. In his first case, the already ghastly murder scene turns to one of terror, as the inhuman killers start to massacre the police. After being saved at the last minute by a secret unit named TOKKO who wield swords instead of guns, Ranmaru's mind is filled with questions and he is determined to find out the answers, no matter what it takes. What are these monsters, and why did they recognize him?

Tokko and Zombie Loan are alike in the way that both main characters are forced to fight these dead monster creatures. 13 episodes of dark, monster killing, bloody anime. They also have disappointing endings as in, its unfinished. They're good anime with revealing past background, decent fighting sequences, and drama, the endings were just disappointing.

Black Butler

Black Butler

In Victorian England it is commonplace for the rich and wealthy to have a staff, led by a head butler, to run their households; the Phantomhive Estate is no different. The young and demanding Count Ciel Phantomhive, child owner of a toy company, lives in the grand countryside manor. Sebastian is his head butler, and the epitome of perfection; he effortlessly and gracefully completes his day-to day chores and fixes the countless mistakes of the other employees. EDFF EDFF says...

Firstly, both were produced by Square Enix. Both have eye-patches, Shinigami, contracts, death, and a dark mood. But the most notable similarities are those between the characters: in both series we have the usually clumsy meganekko (Michiru/Meilin), the gay man who provides some comedy (Hakka/Grell), the always calm and kinda tedious Chinese guy whose eyes are constantly shut (Toho/Lau), the emotionless pretty girl (Kuze/Ranmao), the weird and non-human ferryman/grave-digger (Bekko/Undertaker), the cute and cheerful shota boy (Yuta/Finnian), and even the domesticated wolf (Raika/Pluto).

Both of these animes take a rather "human-looking" take on zombies. Both deal with young protagonists that are obligated to fight monsters because they (the protagonist) are a zombie. Both series have humor, ecchi, and drama galore.

Neuro is about solving mysteries, while Zombie Loan is about tracking down and defeating Zombies. However, the thing I find similar about both anime is that, they both have a small agency, with three lead characters, two guys and a girl. Although it's a bit of a stretch, I got a Zombie Loan vibe from Neuro.
