Interviews with Monster Girls

Interviews with Monster Girls

Succubi, dullahans, snow women and vampires... We're a little different from humans and called "demi-humans." Lately, we've been called "demis." This is a stimulating and heartful school demi-human comedy featuring those very unique "demis" and a high school teacher named Takahashi Tetsuo, who's highly interested in learning more about their daily lives and habits.

Both shows are about cute monster girls in school having cute adventures with each other and their classmates/teachers. Check em out.

These two anime focus on the daily lives of monster girls in a normal looking situation, school. They explore what it's like to be a 'monster' through the characters and short comedic stories. Both have a similar art style (cute girls) and explore similar things. So if you enjoyed one you should check out the other.

Both animes are really wholesome and aren't overtly sexual like some monster girl or high school animes. They have very interesting characters and character designs as well as funny and silly storylines.

If you enjoy slice of life animes and monster or animal characters I highly recommend both animes!

Both shows explore how a society with "monster people" would look like. While Centaur no Nayami explores a society OF "monster people", Interviews with Monster Girls explores a society that has both regular humans and "monster people".

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

Miss Kobayashi is your average office worker who lives a boring life, alone in her small apartment–until she saves the life of a female dragon in distress. The dragon, named Tohru, has the ability to magically transform into an adorable human girl (albeit with horns and a long tail!), who will do anything to pay off her debt of gratitude, whether Miss Kobayashi likes it or not. With a very persistent and amorous dragon as a roommate, nothing comes easy, and Miss Kobayashi's normal life is about to go off the deep end!

Both anime are about the daily lives of the main characters, in worlds were humanoids with animal and mythological beasts physical characteristics.Character design is colorful and kinda cute, their personalites are cheerful and the series atmosfere is soft and heartwarming.

Both of these anime feature these cute monster girls in their everyday life, reflecting on what it is like to live in a world with monsters (dragons in Kobayashi's case and a huge range of monsters in A Centaur's Life). These anime have both used cute animation and short comedic stories to progress the story, causing both to be quite similar to one another. So due to these I believe if you enjoyed one of these shows then try out the other xx

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

When a hapless human teenager named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a "volunteer" into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu's job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life. Unfortunately for Kurusu, Miia is undeniably sexy, and the law against interspecies breeding is very strict. Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what's a full-blooded teenage human with raging hormones to do?

In both they show the day to day of some semi-monsters, friendships and problems that they have to experience each one with its particularities: size, horns, tails ...

Monster Musume is much more echii than Cetaur's life, which is more innocent, but in both you can meet a variety of beautiful monster girls.

Humanity Has Declined

Humanity Has Declined

Humanity has declined over time, leading to shortages in goods and the beginning of a bizarre relationship between humans and whimsical, sweets-loving fairies. Certain mediators help bridge the gap between the two species, as the magical, surprisingly-technological fairies are known to create various items the townsfolk need, albeit at oft-questionable quality levels. One such mediator, along with her faithful silent assistant, adorable fairy Nakata and frenemies such as yaoi-loving Y, will navigate her eventful daily life, whether it's investigating a strange factory or trying to escape the pages of a comic book.

In both of these series, the world itself is the most interesting character.  Whether it be a post-apocalyptic setting filled with fairies or a diverse environment with fae and discrimination, they both use their worlds to relay a deeper message about society and humanity. These shows also try to keep things light and comedic, and are both filled with a lot of random antics.

If you enjoyed the themes in Centaur's Life, than you'll probably find that Humanity Has Declined to be a more fulfilling journey.  Ecchi and silly sexuality are replaced with a more universal kind of humor, and the world is a bit more filled out.  Humanity has some odd bits, but the plot and characters more than make up for it and are quite memorable.

Both are SoL's in a school setting with humanoid animals/demi-humans for main cast (mostly female). Centaur's Life gets lewd at times and touches upon more serious topics.

Petopeto-san

Petopeto-san

In the rural town of Ayukawa, humans live side by side with monsters of different races. Though they appear to be human, these monsters have special characteristics such as the abilities to change shapes, to grow claws, to blend into walls and many others. Hatoko, nicknamed Petoko, is one such monster from the Petopeto race; she has an unfortunate tendency to, quite literally, stick to those who make contact with her.  One day, she sticks to a boy named Shingo as he tries to stop her falling into a pool. During their enforced togetherness, Shingo begins to like her, but Petoko worries about whether she - as a perfectly designed trap for male humans - can ever be truly loved...
