Well

There's a lot to say about this guy

He loves his daughter more than anything. All he wants is for her to be happy and he always wants to encourage her and give her advice. So in that way, he's a great dad.

On the other hand, he stalks her at school and pulls her shirt up with a fishing net, talks about her boobs when she's running a marathon and gives out erotic books to kindergarteners. He's very well-meaning and I do like him but some stuff he does is just very...uh...not good.

He may know a lot about writing erotic novels, but he really doesn't understand social norms. He thinks the stuff he does and says is fine and appropriate. Maybe he has character development in the manga? I plan on reading it soon so I guess I'll find out 

You can only have mixed feelings about him

on the one hand you can clearly tell that he cares about and loves his daughter  a whole lot

but on the other hand, he not only gave her that name but also, in the begining, was very physically involved in attempting to get her to do stuff with that one dude

clearly at the end he was obviously good but leading up to and before the show started he wasnt so great.

i honestly dont know what to think of him
