He is literally the best boyfriend you could ever ask for. Kind, sweet, respectful, has a cute jealous side. One of my favorite things about this anime is that it doesn't gloss over the fact the teenagers have sexual desires, it's just biology to be physically attracted to someone you're romantically attracted to and I'm glad that this anime portrays him both as a gentleman and normal boy with normal desires. Another thing is typically in anime or manga with smut the man "can't control himself" but in this it's the complete opposite. Takumi has MANY opportunities to take advantage of her in a vulnerable state and use that excuse, but he never once considers it. And when he is struggling to hold himself back, he lets her know that way Ao can get out of the situation if she's uncomfortable. He's a true gentleman through and through and he's not appreciated enough by fans.
