Man I don’t like this guy...he was an unnecessary addition to the show.
His character in the game was "overprotective dad." Where the anime got "smug, patronizing asshole in a business suit who goes crazy when in a Pokemon battle" is beyond me.
I hate that smug face of his. I wish Ash had owned him in a Pokemon fight.
