Kamome Academy is rumored to have many mysteries, the strangest of which involves the mischievous ghost of Hanako-kun. When occult-loving high schooler Nene Yashiro accidentally becomes bonded to him, she uncovers a hidden world of supernatural beings. Now the two of them are conspiring to keep the peace between student and supernatural—that is, if they can only stay out of trouble themselves.
General This is a pretty good anime. Genre? This anime is mostly comedic, there is story, but we don't get to learn all that much in the 12 episodes. I noticed a lot of people calling it drama, and that it's heavy. These claims aren't exactly true. Those elements are there, yes. However, we don't get to see much of it at all. The scenes we do get are mostly outted by the comedy except for 1 episode in which our protagonist does not appear. If you wanted, you could call it a Melodrama, but even that's a stretch. This show is great for people who like light-hearted stuff and comedy. You will be able to enjoy the main character being made fun of her legs almost every episode. Characters The characters are overall well written and enjoyable. However, there is a lot we don't get to learn about them. I don't think the series is to blame, and it's more of how much story was animated. Story Same as the character section. We just needed more of it. Most anime at least have an end that leave watchers satisfied enough, this just didn't. Maybe a second season? Animation This show is probably one of the best animated shows I've watched, and it's gorgeous. Sound All the music goes really well with the scenes. Conclusion This is a very unique show, and everyone should give it a chance. It's best for people who are into light-hearted and comedic moments. We get a peek at heavier themes, but they don't go anywhere (at least not in the anime).
I love this anime and the manga it's just such a heart squeeze it's funny but has sad and serious under tones it makes me so happy I rate this 1000 out of ten it's eye catching and the color sceme is fun and unique
I really love this anime ever since the first episode. The unique art style is very intriguing and it makes all the characters very cute. I really enjoyed the plot, but I think I enjoy Hanako and Nene's relationship development more. I love the heart squeezing scenes and the Doki moments that almost gave me heart attacks. It's just very cute and very enjoyable. The plot is pretty interesting about these 7 kinds of like guardians of the school and how we go on in knowing each of their backstories and adventures. We get to learn who Hanako is really like and every character is likable. My only problem with this anime is how I wish that there were more episodes and how I wish that Hanako exists in real life.
