The shows are similar, but BNA adds a different concept. In Beastars, the world is entirely animals, and there is discrimination between predator and prey, but in BNA, the world is part "beastman", part human, where there is instead discrimination between those two groups. Beastars is a little dark at times, while BNA has light-hearted moments that makes it really nice to watch. If you watched Beastars, and liked the animal element of the show, I'm sure you'll like BNA. Same vice versa. If you like the animal element of BNA, you'll love Beastars. Be warned though that Beastars can get dark at times, and while this happens a few times in BNA, it dark moments in Beastars can get a bit heavy.

Both anime have anthrophomorphic animes and are quite similar with both exploring the treatment of various animal groups. BNA adds an extra layer to this by also having a human difference aspect.

if you like (kind-of) mystery types of shows with animals this is more similar to beastars just without the unneeded weird scenes

Lenachan3ko Lenachan3ko says...

Both anime tackle discrimination while also being animals. Both shows also contain heavy action and drama between the characters. Both shows also have a wolf as a primary character. Both protagonists go through a self-discovery journey while also solving mysteries along the way.

macdog macdog says...

Seawooo Seawooo says...
