Personally I feel that these anime have a lot in common. They both have a group of idols, struggling to make themselves known and striving to reach higher heights, to become the best that they can be!
Drama, Friendship, Comfort, Perseverence, and the will to keep on being idols! Plus for you ladies (or guys I'm not judging.) who prefer the boys, B-project is an all-male idol anime. So a nice spin there.
All in all I feel that if you liked one of these anime, there's a good chance you'll be able to enjoy the other.
