It is another popular sports anime that centers around a boy who kind of sucks at volleyball but he isn't that bad considering that he jumps hella high and he is super fast and quick. It's just an amazing anime with very lovable characters.
Both of these anime are about the underdog struggling to make it in the sport of his choice. The anime introduce a lot of strong male figures, both rivals and support for the main guy. Yuri is a little more blatant about the gay undertones, but Haikyuu has its moments. If you like one, check the other.
Both of these animes are about sports, and the angst and struggles of the characters in them to overcome their fears, as well as the competition of their sports.
