If you like this anime you will also enjoy Sekirei. Both series have a plot based around female fighters battling each other. They also have a single male counterpart that uses a "kiss" to enhance the fighters abilities.
Each of these titles focus on a man granting power to the women close to him by kissing them and releasing unreal powers within them. Both series actually have a deeper plot than first shown and have... well... a lot of bouncing boobs and panty shots. If you can either get past all the boucning boobs or if you are look for bouncing boobs, these series fit very well together.
While watching Samurai Girls, I was instantly reminded of Sekirei. Fighting girls that get a power boost from kissing a specific guy. The harem nature of both series. The background plot also has some uncanny similarities. There are enough differences so it doesn't feel like you are watching a rehash of another anime, so if you liked one, you should like the other.
Hyakka Ryouran and Skirei are similar because they both are about beautifull strong girls who fight each other to survive....and they all need a guy to make them stronger.
They're both gnarly animes. They both involve a male protagonist who becomes enlightened of his own ability to forge a bond with powerful women. The story lines are similar in that there is a struggle for valiant cause. Both main characters add female counterparts to their HAREM as they go along. The series are a quite different in there animation style. While sekirei is light and angelic for a good portion of the show(dark when it needs to be), Samurai Girls is mostly dark. It's so rad! Samurai Girls also uses a motife where black paint is constantly splattering the screen. It is a little annoying at times, but for the most part it's a cool effect. Muneakira is a little bit more of a badass at the beginning than Minato. Minato is always a pussy. (it's cool though, the sekireis make up for it in spades). Both shows provide just the right amount of adequately tasteful fanservice as well. I can't tell you how awesome both of these series are. I'm actually a little sad because Hyakka Ryouran is pretty much the last show of it's variety that I can watch until another Ecchi, Nudity, Harem, Fighting style anime is released.
P.S. - Make sure that you watch Pure Engagement after you watch the first season of Sekirei. I say this of course because Pure Engagement took the logical path for the show. It is even better. More Sekireis, fighting, and fanservice.
Both Anime's have a center male lead with women fighting for him, and fighting to be his center of affection. Sekirei story is in my opion more intresting than Samurai Girls, however both of them will entertain you.
Both have a bunch of girls who are climbing around main character and plenty of better and weaker fighting scenes.
Hideyoshi is a typical middle school girl, concerned with fashion, trends, and boys. So when she is transported back to the warring period of Japan, culture shock doesn't even begin to describe her reaction! In this world, the inhabitants are only women, and this gender bending take on Japanese history sees Oda Nobunaga seeking the Crimson Armor in order to rule the world! But she'll need Hideyoshi's help to do it in Battle Girls: Time Paradox!

Fan service and women wielding weapons and using strange powers with lots of ecchi. Truly these anime's are not far apart.
Plenty of ecchi and ass-kicking ladies in fefudal Japan, with plenty of historical figurers to boot. These fit perfectly.
Hyakka Ryouran and Battle Girls are reallly really similar anime because they both about girls fighting, feudal japan,and... there's also a lot of ecchi in both animes.
When I was watching Batlle Girls for the second time I was like "This has Hyakka Ryouran written all over...." - It's like that feeling that you know something, you've done it before and this is totally like that thing.
These series both focus a lot of female versions of historical Japanese figures from the Sengoku era. Mixing together a quest for power, humor, boobs, and action, these series are quite similar.
Loads of girls: Check. Loads of girls fighting: Double check. Loads of girls fighting samurai style in a world that's only a little different from our own: Triple check. If you like series where a lot of girls conflict with each other, look no further!
For 1800 years the seven schools of Kantou have fought over supremacy of the land. Their students constantly fight each other in battles to prove their strength. Both feature scantily clad girls which fight it off. Even though they have different historical references, both have a modern take on those settings where the historical characters are high school students. If you're into martial arts with ecchi and even more ecchi then these shows are definitely for you!
Fighting, fanservice, rival schools - Ikkitousen and Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls contain all of these similarities. However, it isn't all about girls fighting and near nudity. Both series actually contain a deeper plot than you would think when first watching.
Whether it is for the similar plots, the fighting or just the fanservice - if you enjoyed one of these series you should enjoy the other.
These animes are about two things in general 1. big chested girls battling it out with each other while their clothes fall off 2. seeing what sexual hijinks the can get into with the main protaganist. if you like one you will definately like the other.
Both Ikkitousen and Hyakka Ryouran have strong-willed girls who will do anything to protect their comrades. The characters in both anime all work together to protect their lider/general and both these animes focuse strongly in the past.
If you liked one I would strongly recommend the other.
Earth is under attack by other-dimensional threats known as Nova, and only the Pandora – girls with special implants that grant them enhanced physical abilities – can battle against them to protect the planet. The military academy Genetics helps train the Pandora, who must choose a younger boy known as a Limiter to assist them in combat. Bridgette L Sattelizer, known to her peers as 'Untouchable', is at the top of her class and lets no one near her – that is, until new student Kazuya Aoi falls into her breasts one day...

These series each follow a lot of very powerful women fighting some mysterious force. A man comes along and is surprisingly useful at helping out the female fight. Oh, and boobs. A lot of boobs. If you like ecchi and action, these series fit together well.
Right, the only thing these anime differ in is the era they're set in. One is the furture, the other is the future with samurai. Both anime involve lots of ripped clothes(girls only), lots of drooling about one guy(girls only) and lots of fighting(mostly girls only)
If you liked one, check out the other.
I think Freezing and Hyakka Ryouran are very similar because both are about strong big-breasted girls who want the same boy and they want him all to themselves.I also think both of these anime's animation is similar and unique at the same time. The boy is innocent and always wants to do the right thing.
If you liked one you'll definetly like the other.
As the first stage of the Sekirei Plan, Minato Sahashi and his team of buxom beauties enjoy a small respite from the insane machinations of the MBI, but all good things must come to an end. At the whim of the crazed President Minaka, Musubi, Tsukiumi, Matsu, and Kusano find themselves drawn into the search for the final unwinged sekirei, a battle royale, and the scheming of other ashikabis. At the center of it all, Minato still tries desperately to keep all sekirei - both his and others - from harm, but how long can his ideals stand up to the realities of this cruel game?

Pure Engagement is just like Sekirei and Hyakka Ryouran. No more explaination needed. It follows the tried and true formula of ecchi, harem, fighting, and fanservice. You gotta trust me on this one. Give it a shot.
Both are very similar in style. Each female warrior needs a kiss from their chosen one in order to free their true power. Both revolve around a harem, ecchi, fighting style of anime. If you like one you will diffenitly like the other
Both have a fighting girls' universe which need to receive a Kiss from the Boy to receive their power, also both mix ecchi with fights and single relationships with love triangles.
For Kouta and Yuka, finding the bloody naked young girl on the beach would change their lives forever, for better or for worse. Unable to speak or function as a normal human being, she is named Nyu by the duo, and taken into their home in an effort to save her. But what neither teenager knows is that this innocent young girl is actually a killing machine -- an experiment gone terribly wrong -- and it is only a matter of time before the murderer in her awakens again...

If you like Samurai Girls or Elfen Lied, you may like the other. Both shows involve a girl with split personalities, one harmless and one deadly. Neither of them can remember much of their past when their harmless personality takes over. Both shows contain a handleful of ecchi and plenty of action, along with some romance as well.
If you want a less ecchi, equally graphic and violent story focused around some super strong female characters with similar personalities, then go to Elfen Lied. If you liked the darkness and the plot, it is a good way to look.
When the infected approached Rei and Takashi's school, it led to a gruesome blood bath that left the majority of students and staff dead or turned into the zombie-like monsters that have spread throughout the world. Together with a handful of other survivors, Rei and Takashi set forth to find their families in a world that is rapidly detoriating. Governments have collapsed, the killer disease is out of control, and people everywhere are trying their best to simply live through each day...

Both High School of the Dead and Hyakka Ryouran use fairly simple formulas for entertainment: fighting + shameless ecchi fanservice = win. Basically, if you want to see harems of well-endowed girls (often getting their clothes torn to shreds) fighting and falling on top of the main character, then either of these anime will utterly delight you. Plots and depth are secondary to these features.
Each of these series focus around action, a harem, and ecchiness. Both series "progressing the art of ecchi" with 'breath taking' innovations. If you enjoy apocolyptic/post-apocolyptic battles with huge boobs and a somewhat interesting stroy line, then both of these series work for you.
Akuto Sai enters the Constant Academy for Magick Arts hoping to become a high priest and change the world for the better. But when the school's oracle declares his future profession to be 'Demon Lord', he finds himself feared and hated by the entire student population. Now, instead of making comrades and studying for his exam, Akuto finds himself fighting off monsters, bullies, and well-meaning classmates in various states of undress. If navigating a magical high school as a transfer student wasn't difficult enough, Akuto now has to deal with a cute android ordered to observe him 24-hours a day, the precocious attention of the flying, invisible and naked Keena Soga and the advances of the school's most popular girl. Will he be able to overcome his fate, pass his classes, and mend his friendship with the violent Junko Hattori, or will he succumb to his demonic destiny?

Fans of one would most likely enjoy the other, if what they're looking for is more harem/ecchi comedy and perverted goodness. And in the second half/ending parts of the two, they grow into something different and veer off the harem comedy path into something that can seem grander while retaining some ecchi and comedy parts. Or just simply more serious.
Both are censored quite a bit, which can be unfortunate. If you liked one for the ecchi content, then you're bound to enjoy the other.
Both are ecchi heram fighting animes that have similar character types. However this isn't a bad thing.
The girls tend to follow a similar type; The ditzy Big Breasted cute girls the stories focus around and the childhood friend are two examples.
All in all, if you like one you will like the other, they have fantastically daft fights with plenty of ecchi to keep you entertained throughout
Takeru enrolled in Tenbi Academy because the girl-to-guy ratio is, like, 3 girls for every guy. But this bevy of bombshells is actually a school where teens beef up their combat skills using a magic power thingy called a Maken. Redheads with wicked high kicks, shocking blonde bullies, and aggressive brunettes are EVERYWHERE. And every time there’s a brawl, their clothes tend to disintegrate. Distracted by all the bouncy brawlers, Takeru has a hard time concentrating on his training. Things get sticky when the hornball can’t figure out how to use his Maken. If he doesn’t find his mojo quick, he’ll be dumped by the school of his dreams—or destroyed by an attacker who’s after his magic power thingy!

Large mammaries fighting each other with the token flat-chested gal? Check! Visual splendor in terms of fan-service? Double D check! Visual splendor in terms of artistic value? Hyakka Ryouran atleast. While Hyakka Ryouran has the better plot of the two, both focus on what's important: bouncing with large quantities of fan-service with a harem spice. You don't need much else apart from that to enjoy the other if you liked one.
Lots of girls fighting each other while guys in the background check their nose bleedings. More and more of these girls added as the story( wait, story? who am I kidding?) progresses and in the end, the main dude has made almost no progression in his relationship whatsoever? Both of these anime have plenty of that!
So if you like loads of fanservice and have the need to shut your brain of for a fw hours, check these out.
Rumors tell of a black-haired beauty that roams the land, taking down bandits that would harm the weak and innocent. Named Kan’u, the well-endowed warrior travels the land with her new friend Chouhi and a varied cast of companions, from the kind Koumei to the egotistical Sonshoukou and beyond. Together, the gang takes odd jobs, engage in political struggles and find plenty of new adventures along the way!

Both revolve around swordsmanship and political struggle with gratitious amounts of nudity and lewd references.
If you like booby characters in feudal times with varying levels of comedy and action, plus a heavy amount of fanservice and ecchi, Koihime and Samurai Girls are for you.
