To round out this "trilogy" of OVA's is "Bathtime with Hinako & Hiyoko". That's right, the Hinako series is introducing a second character! (Third if for some reason you count yourself as a character in this series). Hiyoko is Hinako's friend? Roommate? Strangely distant enough cousin to not seem like it's weird that they're having a borderline sexual situation like a lot of fanservice anime does? Training with Hinako sold really well, selling out on release day, so Studio Hibari, the company behind the first OVA, decided to make a sequel to capitalize on the first, releasing it a quick 7 months after the first. In "Training with Hinako", Hinako was once a person, but somehow, she gets sucked into the TV and gets turned into an anime character. After noticing you watching her, she is surprised since she hasn't seen an actual person in a while. It's not very often that we get an anime about the behind the scenes of anime, and I'm pretty sure it's a rarity that we get an anime about the behind the scenes of eroge games or anime. There are many reasons why a piece of media is forgotten to the sands of time. Sometimes it's because something isn't very good, sometimes it's because it was released at a time that prevented it from getting a better foothold. The idea of falling asleep next to someone is an appealing idea, especially if they're someone who you're interested in, and I can see how a series like Pillow Boys (Makura no Danshi) could appeal to someone. And since every episode features a different guy who talks to you, you've got some variety to choose from. It's kinda difficulty to outright find a hentai (despite the fact that this series claims it's an echhi series, it has full blown explicit sex, so I'm probably going to call it a hentai anyway) that's just fun to some degree. Sure, most hentai is supposed to be fun since it's trying to cater to someones fetish first and foremost, but it's not that often that the stuff around that sex is meant to be just as entertaining.
