Few characters are as fun to watch just do things as Yotsuba Koiwai. No other character can make the mundane quite as exciting as her.

Was my No.1 antagonist for a solid 2 1/2 years, still unbelievable and as compelling as ever. Great character arc and has some of the best scenes in anime period.

One of Urasawa's many masterpieces. From the backstory to his entire character arc, Grimmer is simply a work of art.

It's fucking Monkey D. Luffy man, what can I even say that hasn't been said already? Funny, entertaining, badass, goofy, he does it all with ease and that basically every chapter.

One of the best character journeys ever. Really really human character that pretty much everyone can relate to to some degree.

Super fun, witty and overall a joy to accompany on this journey. Very natural and his backstory is one of the best in JoJo's.

More in line with the typical anime protagonist and definitely nothing groundbreaking in terms of writing but MAN is he fun to watch mess around.

A bit more layered than his frenemy-partner Mugen, but overall slightly less enjoyable on his own. Most of the enjoyment comes from their dynamic.

The biggest piece of shit in the series (and Gantz isn't really know for having lovable characters anyway), but I can't help it, I really like his abrasive nature.

Her much more logical approach may seem like she'd be the less funny one, but it actually makes for some of the funniest interactions in the series.

One of the best backstories, and that's all they really need to work. Apart from that, also some of the best scenes in all of S2.

Can't even begin to describe how complex this guy is, just know that I have nothing but respect for Q Hayashida for crafting such an elaborate and sick character.
