They also have a chatroom if you go down to the bottom of the page near the facebook and twitter button. That actually is open. The one time I went there it was the middle of the night though and not many people were talking.
This site is really great. I like the way it is presented in comparison to MyAnimeList. However, this site really needs to do some updates in all catagories however, the thing they need the most updated is the manga section. I like manga more than anime overall though I do like both quite a bit. However, the manga database is inconclusive and even lacks photos and summaries on many of their entries. It used to be open to be able to put characters up yourself when they were not there but when I tried it seemed that the feature was disabled. It's unfortunate because there is no real manga version of a site like this with the exception of Baka updates (manga updates) but they are also don't hold a candle in site presentation.
Did you try Btooom it's a bit like SOA but backwards since people are forced to play a video game in real life. Well I'll talk to you later : )
I saw you were in the mood for something kinda like Sword art online while conversing with another person. If you haven't you should try Btooom! it's pretty good.
