Both X TV and Juuni Kokki are famous because they have two of the best stories in anime. Both are about a character who has to face up to his/her own destiny. Will that destiny be completed, or will it be left behind? Pick up these anime to see what impact their actions have.

X TV and Melody of Oblivion have a lot of mystery. Each involves the characters solving a puzzle to save the world, and an underground organization. There are some plot twists you don't see coming, and the characters act in the same way. Don't let that fool you though, as both shows are quite different as well. I promise that these two will appeal to the same fans.

For Daisuke, his growing pains are just beginning!

Both have creatures with wings. But seriously, although DN angel has a lighter theme than X, both show the beauty of tragedy in more intricate plotlines than most.

Both Noir and X TV are stories about an old legend that is slowly uncovered as a mysterious and compelling story. The main characters must find out what their destiny is and set out into a story that is filled with emotions like sadness, betrayal and hope. Needless to say that the atmosphere in both is very alike!

D.Gray-man and X TV are about good and evil, and the unclear line between it. Would the world be best off destroyed, or saved?

For X lovers, what could be better than seeing your favorite characters again? Well, in Tsubasa Chronicle, you can! Most notably, Seishirou returns for a long lasting cameo in the later episodes. You also get to see Arashi and Sorata, Yuzuriha and Kusanagi, and many other characters from X. Also, this series is by CLAMP, so the tragic feel is also evident.

Nohansen Nohansen says...

X and Karas provide a distinct, fantastic face to the Tokyo underworld. Both explore a city that conceals its ancient traditions with ultra-modern exteriors, a city only those in the know truly understand.

CLAMP's TV series chronicles a young man's involvement in a secret war for the future of the world. Kamui's journey takes him to a Tokyo with its own mores and ideals, an overlapping plane of esotericism and mysticism. Karas suggests another reality, a world of demons, coexists with Japan's megalopolis. Otoha, the guardian crow, straddles these two worlds.

X and Karas are prime examples of urban fantasy, so fans of the genre will be hard-pressed to find anything better.

In a world where an increasing number of people turn to these 'persocoms' for company, the bonds and limits of human relationships are tested as flesh manages to fall in love with the machine itself...

To me, one of the most appealing and neat features of these series are the character designs. Chobits is another series designed by CLAMP with a different (also great) story, and similar visuals to X TV.

Magic Knight Rayearth

Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuzaaki, and Fuu Hououji must fight a slew of enemies, overcome trials and tribulations, and face their inner demons to save Cephiro, a wonderfully detailed world, from a dastardly evil and powerful Priest, Zagato.
