Narumi Inoue has a problem with the new girl in school. It's not that Hibiki Amami is impolite or a bully… it's just that she sees, speaks with, and befriends ghosts! Now, it's at the point that when Amami's around, Inoue sometimes sees them too, spelling disaster for a girl who's terrified of anything supernatural. However, Amami's genuine kindness makes it hard for Inoue to ignore her, especially when her friends Kyoko, Kana, and Makoto, as well as the other students, have accepted Amami's habit of talking to thin air and walking around invisible obstacles. With gentle coaxing (and the knowledge that her departed grandmother is watching over her), Inoue finds herself immersed in Amami's strange, otherworldly adventures. Fulfilling the last wishes of the dead might not be a normal after-school activity, but at least they'll always know why the ghost crossed to the other side in RE-KAN!

This one is the cutest short-length anime I've watched for a while! It's very funny and light but be also prepared for a lot of feels.Also it has one of the best cats in all of anime history!The only flaw I can think of is that it focuses too much one the protagonist and her best friend -which happens to be a tsundere, so that's an extra point.

I enjoyed this one. An endearing mix of comedy and some genuinely heartfelt moments throughout and without angst. Some people may be put off by it's episodic nature but I personally don't see any issue with something like that. It's a good show with a charm.

English Re-Kan! is one of these wholesome series where there is no bad guy: Hibiki can see ghosts and endeavors to help them, so the ghosts love her and strive to help her in turn, and her friends and family, albeit a bit surprised at first, are very supportive. It’s the anti-Mieruko-chan somehow. The general tone is humor, but it remains that Hibiki can see dead people, so obviously the series treads on the subject of losing precious people. The drawings are meh but it does the job. Français Re-Kan! est une de ces séries mignonnettes où il n’y a pas d’antagoniste : Hibiki peut voir les fantômes et s’efforce de les aider, en retour les fantômes l’adorent et font tout pour l’aider à son tour, et son entourage, bien que surpris au départ, se montre très compréhensif. C’est un peu l’anti-Mieruko-chan. Le ton est dans l’ensemble à l’humour, mais il demeure que Hibiki peut voir des morts, ce qui amène naturellement régulièrement à parler de la disparition d’êtres chers. Les dessins sont pas ouf, mais ça passe.
