Two chibi series that are filled with sillyness, crazy adventures, cultural references and a bunch of very cute characters. While both shows are kinda childlike they are quite an enjoyable watch for more adults too.

freakzilla freakzilla says...

Due to the small character design and flow Bottle Fairy and Mini-Goddess apply to the same audience. Enjoyable for small kids, yet also fun as a breather for the older viewers. Enjoyable is the key word here.

Betelgeuse Betelgeuse says...

In both series we see small beings bringing their fantasies to life by use of their magic... yet nobody's perfect and unforeseen consequences are unavoidable. So if you enjoyed looking at the humor of the small cuties that try to solve the unusual problems that they've put themselves into, then also this anime is yours.

AngryJellyfish AngryJellyfish says...

Both series are short in episode length, and focus on chibi characters and their antics. Neither really has much in the way of a plot, but both are cute and funny enough to get away with that!

LLORAtheLLAMA LLORAtheLLAMA says...

Get ready for the adventures of the chibis!!

Both of these shows contain chibis, randomness, humor, and the crazy situations they get in to.

Don't miss the magic from both Mini-Goddess and Bottle Fairy! Watch them!

Small, cute and funny, if you liked this about either Adventures of Mini Goddess or Bottle Fairy, then you may well enjoy the other. Both are semi-slice of life anime about the day to day lives of these teeny girls.

While this series is a little too fever pitched for the casual anime fan, DiGi Charat is cute, and even sillier than the Mini-Goddesses. Be careful though, you'll definitely need basic knowledge of Japanese culture to understand most of it.

freakzilla freakzilla says...

Di Gi Charat is faster and more random, yet both have a certain cuteness and comedy factor to them which made me remind them of each other a bit.

cassiesheepgirl cassiesheepgirl says...

With cute protagonists, bizarre situations and plenty of comedy, if you enjoyed Di Gi Charat or Adventures of Mini Goddess, then you may like the other. Both have a similar style of humour and vibrant visuals, so if you liked one, try the other.

In both animes the humor goes further than average comedy, both are also episodical and thus give a same feel in terms of pace. With 99% surety i say that you'd like both of these shows.

Though Mini-Goddess and Pita Ten obviously share the character designs, the reasons for this recommendation go a lot further. Both have energetic characters with their own personalities; this leads to a lot of funny situations that, along with the magical moments in the anime, make Pita Ten and Mini-Goddess very alike!

Akazukin Chacha

Akazukin Chacha

If you like the random pointless humor of Adventures of Mini Goddess, you'll really like Akazukin Chacha. Akazukin Chacha takes that humor to the next level. There's tons of overacting, bad puns, and running gags to keep you satisfied. Also, Akazukin Chacha is actually funny.

Skip Skip says...

Pull down the zany humour a few levels, add in more emotions. Air is the perfect anime to watch after a good laugh, its ability to relay the emotion of the main characters to the watcher is second to none.

You can also see a little of Belldandy in Misuzu Kamio...

Minami-ke

Minami-ke

Meet the Minami sisters, three girls living on their own and doing their best to make it through life's little snags and adventures. Kana, the middle sister, has far more energy than common sense; Chiaki, the youngest, is more reserved, but her sharp tongue and devious mind often cause trouble for others; and Haruka, the eldest, acts like a mother to the other two, is beautiful and kind, but has a fearsome stern streak. Together, no obstacle can stand in their way, be it school, romance, or even cooking.

Bdiah Bdiah says...

Although you may wonder how these are related, if you watch both carefully, you notice that the exact same brand of sporadic, energetic humor is used in both Minami-ke and Adventures of Mini Goddess. Minami-ke keeps this better grounded in reality, while Adventures of Mini-Goddess just flies off the deep end.

Both these Anime have that Chibi art style to them and both have light entertaining stories. It's a nice light watch for those wanting a break from those animes that have to breaking out into tears on sitting on the edge of your chair in suspence. I nice relaxing watch with some good laughs.
