Given an ultimatum to get rid of the cats or move out, Sorata makes the mistake of standing up for himself and finds himself exiled to Sakurasou, the home of misfits the school doesn't know what to do with. Yet the more he spends time there, Sorata sees they all have their own incredible talents. None, however, enthralls him more than the latest arrival: Mashiro Shiina, a world class artist who is seemingly incapable of feeding or clothing herself! These two shows have a couple of things in common, first the comedy and romance aspect of both of them. They both have it present in their story, but is implemented differently. Another point in common is the existence of a place in which our misfit cast gathers, in Pet Girl of Sakurasou it is Sakura Hall, while in My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, it is a club dedicated to helping others.

Their protagonists differ greatly from one another, but there are characters that behave in similar manner such as Yuigahama and Aoyama.

This anime is really good if you are looking for something that is funny, not entirely stupid, has some romance and is blissfully beautiful.

This anime really made my days a little brighter and more colourful with the beautiful animation it has along with the story line and the way the story progresses. A lot to see and enjoy so definitely check it out.

Both center around groups of people who spend most of their time in comedic dialogue with each other and occasionally take action on part of a schoolmate. Both have quite eccentric male leads however Seitokai no Ichizon has pervert while Yahari has something more unique. The relationship between the male leads and their girls is fairly similar unlike most other examples in anime that I could think of. The exception being perhaps MM

Why? Well basically both the female and male protagonists are almost the same. There's also a club, but the storyline is very different the romance is also subtle, but gets you excited and the main is pretty badass in a non violent way.

Gamers!

Gamers!

"Would you like to be with me... in the Gamers Club?" Amano Keita is a perfectly mediocre loner with no particular distinguishing features other than his love for games. One day, his school's prettiest girl and Gamer Club President Tendo Karen suddenly calls out to him. That moment changes Keita's life forever, as he now finds himself in the midst of a romcom with beautiful girl gamers... or, well, that's how it usually goes. Not with him, however.

It shares a general story, approach to telling it, style, comical twists, setting, look, genres, and types of characters between SNAFU and Gamers!  Snafu lacks a natural feel; is a bit stiff in delivery; the lead is a bit too stoic and stone faced too much of the time to keep things so fresh; and has that whole attraction conflict between straight attractions to the two lead ladies and to one of the other lead men.  It is the confusion on his preferences that make it less delighteful.  Gamers  focuses on comedy surrounding those relationships and the confusion the characters have for each other due to all the misperceptions, misunderstandings, and opposing viewpoints that never seem to match reality.  Snafu also spends a bit too much effort allowing or setting up the main character to be the lacky fall guy for everyone's problems without satisfactory acknowledgement or appreciation for his sacrifices.  It only adds to the lack of logic why he is so anti social yet gives up so much for strangers in a way that contradicts itself.  But watcihing him get the abuse and flak loses my interest after about the third time it happens without any positive result forthcoming for him.

We kind of get that same thing with Keita who is often the butt of everyone's problems while taking it either in stride or idiotic simplicity and ignorance.

Hi Score Girl

However, one day at his usual arcade, he encounters Akira, his female classmate with good grades and money. She may look out of place at the arcade, but she is actually a top-class gamer. Akira completely outmatches Haruo in one Street Fighter II round after another, and their relationship develops from this unlikely encounter.

The main characters between the two shows have quite a bit in common.

The main protagonists are socially awkward boys who just wants to be left alone so he can focus on what they really want to do.

We have the girls that are extremely popular, who are admired by the boys but due to family pressures and expectations have found themselves becoming socially awkward. They grow feelings for the socially awkward boys because they let the girls be themselves.

And last but not least, we have the social butterfly girls who are intrigued by the socially awkward boys and even though the girls feel they boys are making bad choices, they are intrigued by the weird choices they make.

Or so I thought... but Kachi has a boyfriend?! Seeing me depressed, my friend ever since we were little who's cute, cheerful, and loves to look after others, Shida Kuroha... who also apparently had no problem telling me that she likes me for some reason just suggested, "Let's get revenge."
