Both Mar and Kiba are fantastic and very similar in a way. Both have a main character looking to escape their own world to another where their life will have purpose. If you love shows with tons of magic using and awesome battles, definitely check out both of these.

Pufferfish Pufferfish says...

In both Mar and kiba the main character goes to another world where he becomes very powerfull and helps others out. The battles are very similar too. In both there is this kind of "magic" stuff taking place in the battles.

LeBBlood LeBBlood says...

Both anime are relatively similar super power types that revolve around young protagonists who end up in a parallel universe. Despite both being a Shounen, Kiba (for the most part) had a much more mature atmosphere and story to it.  So if you are going to watch MAR, i would suggest walking into it with the expectation of seeing lots of typical Shounen gags during serious situations.

Either way, if you liked one, definitely check out the other.

Both anime have a similar feel to it. The young heros embark on advantures, where they make friends and fight together against their enemies. The biggest difference between these two is the fact that in HunterXHunter, Gon lives in the world he explores and for the most part he uses his own life energy as a weapon or reinforcement. In Mar, Ginta is transported to another world, where he learns to use weapons called Ärm.

If you like M.A.R then you will most likly like HunterXHunter. the both heros that dont start out as to much just normal kids (well other then gon's streght and overall guts if you want to out it that way). if you look at both shows you will see that they start out normal and sercomstances make them change into somthing great. Things that they go through throughout the story turn them into unstopible heros. if you do read this and go watch HunterXHunter (my fav anime) i would recomend watching it in dub. the voice is much better and the script feels more like the anime should feel. hope this helped :)

Uzumaki Naruto is just another kid in the Hidden Leaf Village, except he's got something hidden within himself, a secret that's made him a loner from childhood to now. This anime follows his adventures as he learns about friendship and courage in his struggles to scale the ranks of the Leaf ninja in his quest to become Hokage, the leader of the ninja. Watch the story of the hit manga unfold as Naruto is caught up in the flow of history and extraordinary events unfold around him!

FlameMonarch FlameMonarch says...

Take the story of a blonde "loser kid" who turns out to be the chosen one, praised for his honor and carefree friendliness, able to make a friend out of just about anyone, and you have the main characters of both Naruto and MÄR. Add in an emo kid voiced by Yuri Lowenthall (complete with a cursed tattoo linking him to the bad guy) and an annoying pink haired girl, and you're on the money.

The plots are also relatively similar, with an evil, semi-immortal warlord ready to plung the world into chaos, tournaments for the fate of the world, and so forth. Both shows are frequently emotional, and feature grand, rallying speeches and magical hijinx, just replace ÄRM with hand signs, or vice versa.

If you enjoy the idea of the main character with a weapon that can change forms, then you have to watch rave too. Both of these shows have the adventure theme with the protagonist training to find new forms for their weapon. Then there is the sidekick, support weapon character, etc. These series just give off the same adventure atmosphere as you watch them.

Beet and Mar are two series that have a group of characters, who are fighting an evil organization that is out to destroy the world. Both series also have some kind of magical weapons that depends on the user's power. Both are pretty light with some darker elements to them and provide good filler anime enjoyment as their stories aren't high caliber, but are entertaining.

Both series have the same type of comedy and action, plus the main characters have a similar charm  about them; goofy yet lovable. The target audience for both series is about the same, so if you want some good action with some fun thrown in, both are not to be missed.
