Monster of Frankenstein and Dracula were released around the same time period as two TV specials based on classical tales. Each is filled with horror and monsters and will appeal to the same audiences, in addition to having a similar feel and even animation style.

They technically both deal with historical fictional figures of myth and horror legend. But while one stays true to the mythos of a monster being a monster and getting brain smarts later on, the other has Dracula eating a cheeseburger. They're both pretty terrible and about the same quality with varying levels of cheese.
