This is a story that follows Elk, a boy blessed by the spirit of fire. When Elk was a child his village was destroyed by a dark force that now seeks to plunge all humanity into chaos, by releasing the great darkness that is sealed within the Ark of the Spirits. Elk, along with Arc the chosen hero of the spirits and the brave crew of the silver noah, fight for the hope of all mankind.

I really wanted to like this anime. The outdated animation didn’t turn me off at all. The first episode was pretty good. The plot was ok, but the storyline eventually became a little too drawn out and boring for me. Eventually I dropped it. Overall, it was a 4/10.

This underrated anime may not have the best graphics, dialog and its execution is not perfect, but where it shines is in the story, fighting against the corruption of an evil corporation that secretly controls the world. The characters encounter several hardships and not everything goes well for them. I think the main theme is that they must overcome their failures and find a reason to fight. The animation and sound are closer to the early 90's. The dub is ok. Overall, I think this is better than average, definitely not at the end of the pile. Its probably not for people that want a fun story and comedy, which may well be the reason for its low ratings.
