Konnichiwa! I am Proxy11 and I, like you, enjoy watching Anime! I've been watching since a very young age although I never considered myself a fan. Just thought the shows were rather cool, besides I didn't even know they were Anime at that time. Within the last few years my interest in Anime has picked up to the point it is now. I've seen good and bad and now I'm proud to call myself a fan!
My interests go further than Anime though, Gasp! The passion that has taken over my life is Mixed Martial Arts, or MMA. It is a growing combat sport that I tried to hate but it hooked me regardless. This is the number one pastime for me, to be honest Anime happens to be third being as my second is playing online shooters! Can't get enough. Than well, let's marathon some series damnit.
Sorry to disappoint that I'm not the stuck in a basement full of ecchi action figures type of guy! Unless you have some action figures to donate :D
