So this anime has been on my "want to watch" list for a while and I was hoping I would like it. It's a reverse harem and romance anime, two of my absolute favorite types. However, I didn't expect to like it this much. I ended up a sobbing mess at the end and basically had a panic attack. As a side note, I just couldn't stop watching and finished this in one day. I absolutely loved the animation of this, V1 Studio really does a wonderful job of animating. I'm not sure if I'm good at rating animes since I just end up loving it no matter what, but I'll try my best.  Story The story took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. I was hooked from the beginning, and throughout the story, it kept me interested. I felt frustrated, happy, sad, and angry all during these 12 episodes. I can't find anything wrong regarding the plot, really. I didn't find anything overly unreasonable or crazy. I loved the suspense at the end where we're waiting in anticipation what Mei will decide to do. I was personally saddened by the ending, but I feel like it's the best ending we can get. The ending doesn't leave us with a completely closed book or concrete ending but instead leaves it open as if more is to come. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the story. Animation Honestly, there's nothing wrong about the animation. Literally. Nothing. I loved the cute chibi moments, they were adorable. The characters and scenery were animated beautifully. V1 Studios really is amazing.  Sound The voices excited me so much. Whenever a new character was introduced, I would be overwhelmed with happiness because they all had such "ikemen" voices. All of the characters had such fitting seiyuus, and I wasn't disappointed with a single one. The music was wonderful. The jazzy-type opening was one of the factors that hooked me to this during the beginning. It's definitely going on my playlist after this. Characters I have but one word to explain my reactions to all the characters: fangirl. I squealed so loudly during this anime, my voice probably went up five octaves whenever a new character was introduced. I can't really pick a favorite, they're all wonderful characters it's Shunsou shhhh. I fell in love with the character designs of all of them. The voices match their personality and appearance wonderfully. One thing I will say. After finishing the anime, I wish we saw more about Charlie. He's such a mysterious character and I really would like to learn more about him. In fact, I would like to see more about the past of the main characters. Other than that, the characters didn't fail to please me.

Meiji Tokyo Renka was a fairly good anime. It has a few moments that I was like PLEASE GET TO THE POINT!! I found my self feeling for the characters at the end. I personaly think the end was a bit sad. I liked all the characters and the story itself. I enjoyed that there was many forms of art such as painting and writing. Some of the story was a bit plain but past that it was a very enjoyable anime. Its not one to sit there for hours and watch at once in my opinion. I watched it over 4 days. Over all I would recommend watching it. Thanks all thanks for reading my review on Meiji Tokyo Renka!

I'm surprised I loved this as much as I did. At first I just watched it as something to watch and it seemed like other otome game anime adaptations. But It's different to the ones I've watched before. I like the characters better and they're not as surface level as the others. The main character also has a personality and isn't completely flat do-nothing like others I've encountered. I actually like the main character.  The animation is good. It's just the normal. Its not bad or fantastic, but its good animation overall. The story was relaxing and enjoyable.
