Ai, Mai and Mii are three would-be manga artists who can't seem to stay out of trouble, let alone complete a project! Whether they're having a one-off encounter with the forest dweller Yamu, becoming human sprinklers, entering manga battles or entering a doujinshi fair, the trio have fun one day at a time.

Both have similar fast, absurdist comedy and look very similar. I've always been a big fan of Ai Mai Mii, and as soon as I saw Fushigina Somera-chan, I loved it for the same reasons!
Extremely similar random humor with similar gags and almost identical characters. There's a lot of third-wallbreaking, parody and humor not vested in reality.
Main difference is the tempo (Ai Mai Mii has a higher tempo than Fushigi na Somera-chan). Additionally, the jokes in Ai Mai Mii seem to be a bit more well thought out, on point and unpredictable than Fushigi na Somera-chan.
Both of these shows feature nonsensical humor that is more often than not a bit detatched from reality. People being killed just to be alive moments later, magic, pure randomness and physical impossiblities.
If you enjoy mostly fast-paced stupidly random comedy you'll probably enjoy this if you enjoyed the other.
At the Nerima Ward Ooizumi Academy Photonic District, the Robot Girls are selling "Photonic Energy', a new type of "cheap and green power." The lab's research has been going nowhere and their government funding's been cut off, so their finances are a mess. Just when the three robot girls are bored out of their minds, the part-timers they hired...

These two shows follow the ridiculous situations of an all female cast of characters. These shows are not really about having a story rather than just having self contained episodes.
Both shows share the same kind of random, nonsensical comedy and have a very similar feeling even if Robot Girls Z focuses more on parodying 80's mecha shows. all in all fans of one will enjoy the other.
Both of these shows are random comedy shows with an all-female cast and there's essentially no plot. If you enjoy random comedy and parodies you'll enjoy either of these.
One day, without warning, a huge hole appeared in the world and demons emerged, ready for battle. Assuming that the demon king sealed by a hero 1,000 years ago must have escaped, the king of the land set forth a decree: the hero’s descendents must defeat evil once more! For Alba, one such would-be hero, this journey will be anything but ordinary given...

Two somewhat different shows in that there is not a full female cast and it is set in a fantasy setting. The style and randomness of the jokes is very similar however. Furthermore, there are some minor paralells in the use of clearly other- or offworldy concepts / characters to convey humor. Does either make much sense? Nope, but that's how it should be.
There is somewhat of an overarching plot in Senyuu, which is notably absent in Fushigi na Somera-chan. So if you enjoy the random humor in Senyuu and want to see something in a similar style, check out Fushigi na Somera-chan. Want something that's set in a fantasy setting or want something that at least has some sort of plot wit the same style of humor as Fushigi na Somera-chan, check out Senyuu.
