Treat this as a 2 hour movie split into 4 episodes.

This is a must watch for horror fans. It definitely has the most disturbing and graphic events out of any horror anime and many of the horror movies out there. (**Contains some pretty graphic scenes & a fair amount of blood)

The whole thing takes place in an alternate spacial world at a haunted highschool triggered by a curse triggered by performing a ritual of friendship. It runs in the form of a mystery in that who is responsible for the curse and why have to be figured out.

Those who have seen many horror movies will see some classic scenes that appear to be a reference to some of those movies.

The graphics and art are well done to catch the creepy atmosphere with sound effects that are essentially classic sounds and creepy, good sounding music.

For some reason, the characters feel like they have all appeared somewhere before. This is only 2 hours in total and deaths occur so you won't get to see any development or know the characters well.

The very last scene is confusing as to what happened with no explanation which was the only annoying part and leaves it open to your imagination. Based on what was shown just before that last scene gives a good idea of why it happened possibly.

The visuals/sound end up making you wish this had been done on a larger scale running a typical 12 episode season.
