If you somehow saw Mashle first, imagine One Pumch Man as a show about a character with the abilities of Mashle in a world of heroes rather than Harry Potter, only infinitely more powerful. It is also better in my opinion, not that I dislike Mashle.
If you want something in the same sort of tone as Mashle it has to be Mob Psycho 100

It's got some depth and commentary on bullying, but it's also kind of heartwarming. It is also fantastical, as most anime are. Again, I am recommending this based on the concept of an aesthetically challenged.protagonist, if you want to see it explored more.

made a recommendationThey both play on the concept of going to another world where the protagonist is ugly. Uncle from another world is more mature, I doubt you could call it more serious (lol) but the humour is less... silly? if that helps.
That said, Uncle from another world is a very different style and less of the traditional adventure anime. But still with that massive OPness everone likes. If having more character depth sounds good, and you want something with similar aspects but a bit different... I cannot recommend this more.
