Since you like sci-fi, one of my favorite anime is Steins;Gate which can be considered is sci-fi. Steins;Gate is a seinen, thriller with sci-fi atmosphere. First half is slower and just for image what is going next, second is absolutely exciting. This is one of my favorite anime.

The last is Ghost in the Shell, this series consists many movies and series. The first movie is quite old with old style of animation, but it is still very good anime. Sci-fi with very dark dark seinen feeling.
