Just wanted to make sure, did you see my forum PM?

Actually, he didn't even want Zagan, Zagan decided to go into his weapon when his dungeon was crumbling, thus more or less Zagan chose Hakuryuu, because 1; He hates humans and wasn't compatible w/ Alibaba, but was more compatible w/ Hakuryuu. 2; I don't think Magi can actually have a djinn, sure they can raise dungeons, but not claim them. 3; Morgiana is a full Fanalis, thus having a Djinn could be very bad for her as stated on their page for Fanalis of the wiki.

If he is not simply evil and is neutral as you say, then he must be a complete idiot not to notice or see all the signs pointing at him that he is going to far even for many of the humans he supposedly serves to benefit. I just do not see him as neutral cause if he were, he would not have invaded both heaven and hell and simply stayed at home and let them come at him while defending his world and then he would be 'neutral' as you say.  Neutrals don't invade though let alone take booty or slaves.   As further proof we have only to look at one of the most recent episodes where he blatantly murders angels who were about to retreat and later he and his men go around stabbing survivors to death.  I do not see in any remotely grey way whatsoever what could possibly be 'neutral' about any of that behavior.

What's more, I think all that goes well beyond any claims of "good intentions" and he would think it is somehow not evil?  If he were doing it for humanity he would listen to advice from other humans who know he is pushing beyond good or 'neutral' and who tell him so but he refuses to even listen let alone consider he could ever be wrong.  And pride or self love as well as greed, which he posseses an ample amount of in both, are listed as universal sins for much of the world.  Even other religions that don't have it, have a varation of it. How is it good intentions if you do not listen to the very people you appointed to help you maintain that aura as top level officers and advisors?  How is it good intentions if you spit upon anyone who does not act like a yes man or yes woman?  What is "good intentions" about stealing and murder?  If he thinks any of that is a mark of "good intentions" he is delusional.

I think Charioce is suppposed to be a neutral character, not necessarily the evil character. He wants humanity to be the new leaders of the world instead of being beneath the gods and demons. But by trying to do that he is slaughtering them and using them for slavery. Good intentions gone wrong

Thank you for the tips, I will try to check them out but so far, most of them do not seem to be available yet.  Should I watch more of the previous seasons of Saiyuki first though? I have seen a couple episodes but not a season yet.
