Thank you Colloquialduck, but that was based on the anime alone. Even if I and when I read the manga or novels, it should not affect the review of the anime much. As is often the case, however, the written form of the stories for video presentations are hardly comparable or as complete. I may add notes as I did in other anime about the differences or how the characters might be better but not shown that in the anime. Thank you as well OrangeMoonLight. I do try to comment on ones I get a pretty strong impression of or feel fairly strongly about, but I do not always leave comments since there are alot of characters I could do that for and sometimes, I just do not know either quite what to think of them or how to express it or perhaps they just don't move me enough from cliche templates or average qualities to be worth making note about. Hi :) I just wanted to drop by and say that I really think it's cool that you write on each of your liked characters' pages about why you like them so much. For once, a fan is trying to prove their point instead of immaturely arguing with others despite not having a valid reason for their opinion. Have a good day.
Hey man, I gotta say, after reading your opinions on the characters from the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise a while back, for the most part, I wholeheartedly agreed with them, not being able to stand many of their character flaws in the same vein and all. However, after going through the original light novel series, and finishing the 10th (and probably final) book last night, I couldn't help but feel proud over how much those characters grew, especially over the course of books 7-10, which took place after the Disappearance arc. Sure, they're not saints, but in the end, I just simply couldn't hate them anymore. And after finding out about how much crap the author put himself through, especially for that last book, it.... was really eye opening, to say the least.
I know you've got other books & manga on your queue, but regardless, I sincerely hope you can give these books a chance someday. You just might like the characters a bit more than their anime counterparts. I know I did : )
