![]() Kill the HeroThis is a very similar story but whilst Kill he Hero is based on time travel reincarnation with a male lead; Hero Killer is mainly pure revenge justice with a female lead. Technically both are about revenge though but the reset story undoes the reason for revenge in a way in Kill the Hero while Hero Killer is real ice type of revenge. Both cast heroes as malleable corruptible beings with human temptations and weaknesses. The most powerful heroes of both stories are vying to control the world despite supposedly being heroes. Both have a betrayal under subplot where the very institutions of heroes turned on and/or betrayed a character or characters that prompted seeking vengeance. |

![]() My Hero AcademiaI can't help drawing parallels here. The story; world ; and characters have a lot in common with each other aka Hero Academia and Hero Killer. It's generally a bit more realistic looking and believable than Academia but both actually have major characters that are gradually losing power but were considered either the strongest or one of the strongest in the world. Both have flip sides of heroes and villains. Both have mentor like characters behind hero and villain group leaders or major characters. This isn't as much of an any age story as Academia though so be warned. I actually kind of like the story better because it's grounded in more plausibility and believable characters. |
