It had everything anime needs to be great, sadly including a few unneccesary pantyshots and poor sound effects. The story is about a poor boy in a world of 'elitist' magic users. His magic is stronger than that of all the others (I try to keep it spoilerfree) and he tries to hide this for his surroundings while training hard to become the best. It's predictable but enjoyable nonetheless. The Animation in general is very fluent but it has stop motion shots now and then. Poor CGI (as in Pokémon) and dialogues/attacks are done in turns. Bartender is a strange kind of anime. It does not have a continuous story but rather focuses on a customer every episode. During every episode there is a certain flow of pace which sets a mood that flows slowly through the whole episode. This is not a series I would recommend to other people as the right watching mood cannot be captured at will I think, it is something to stumble upon at the right moment for maximal enjoyment. One Punch Man. The name kind of says it all, I expected little of an anime hyped on 9gag about an OP guy. I got even less after watching 12/12 eps, the special and backstory about the suit. The story -what story?- is about a bored youngster who becomes a hero to enjoy himself a bit. He follows this standard training schedule and becomes super-strong. A strong and less blunt guy starts following him to get to the secret of the power but there's no secret. I just have to react on this one.
I'm a huge fan of Pokémon myself and I found myself disliking this movie. The 30min intro-movie was great I thought. I was hoping for another action/animation movie with Mewtwo in it. This movie doesn't contain the same Mewtwo, it's not only another voice actor (actress) but it has also a more 'round' female face. In my memories mewtwo was created by men (it (she?) reminds us about that every time she talks) and there's only one of it (her?).
