In the mysterious, RPG dungeon-like Tower, Confucius Kim lives a mundane existence, envying all the star hunters. One day, his wish for more is granted with a legendary skill to copy others’ abilities… at the cost of his life. Before he can make sense of it, he’s killed by the #1 hunter, the Flame Emperor! But this activates his skill and now he’s copied a new one, the ability to travel back in time upon death. How will Confucius use these skills to outplay the competition and rise to the top?
It is actually pretty good, the plot is original and the characters are well writen. Hope it get better or at least keep this quality.
I absolutely love this manhwa. It's not perfection but the story is very intriguing as I can't say I've read a manhwa/manga/manhua where the main character kills himself to become the strongest. I've read both the novel and manhwa and can say with my heart that this is one of my personal favourite reads of all time. Currently the manga is about 1/4 of the way through the novel and it's very promising so far; if it continues at it's current pace and follows closely to the novel I can say without a doubt it will be one of the top (even though it's already #62) If you're looking for a new plot idea where the MC isn't too op and uses his brain and at the same time has those moments where you really just wish they would release many more chapters then this truly is for you; it has the plot, it has the loveable characters and most of all it has an amazing MC who isn't portrayed as a selfless hunter aiming to be #1 for himself and nobody else [Similarities] If you like any manga/manhwa/manhua such as: Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Solo Leveling The Advanced Player of The Tutorial Tower (All the popular dungeon/world changing manga) Then I TRULY recommend you give this a shot!
Hands-down one of the best action-based manwhas. This is my review upon reading 30 chapters. Why I like it. SSS-Class Revival Hunter has one of the most unique storylines that I've every seen. First of all, players live in the game world and although the main character's ability is powerful, it requires wits to fully utilize it. Also, it's mainly a world where players try to work together to defeat stages of the game world to progress further in the storyline. There are some heartwarming, tear-jerking moments, which was unexpected, but I love it and it makes people feel differently towards the main character. Although the mc is kinda pathetic at the beginning, he undergoes character changes throughout the entire story and it's beautiful. The supporting characters, in my opinion are well-developed and diverse and help add to the storyline in some way. Finally, the artwork is one of the best I've seen. Some flaws Suicide plays a part of the main character's ability, so there's probably frequent occurances of it. The main character doesn't suffer depression or have frequent thoughts about self-harm. However, the issue of suicide can be disturbing to some. Main character may seem as pathetic and a little crazy in the first few chapters (until around chapter 6 or 7 is when the story starts to progress) If you can overlook the flaws, this manwha is a pretty good read and only gets better and better as the chapters progress.
