I want an S-Rank skill too! I want it so badly, I could die for it! "You have awakened an S-Rank skill. But it only works when you die." Eh?! What is the point of getting one if I die?!
It was perfect until the protagonist become a total woman simp around chap 100. Just thash romance from there, totally unexpected and with a character that just popped out nowhere. Other than this the entire novel is amazing, it has a lot of concepts and poems that are beautiful ❤️ and scenes that made me cry. I'm really sad that it become just another trash romance even if the tags don't say so. If you want just action and good character development, read till chap 100 and find something else.
When you read this, it's like looking at a painter draw on a canvas, every sentence is able to paint a picture. I've re-read this many times and I noticed each time how the author bascailly writes in a way where the goal is to paint a picture, a story. This story has almost everything, I originally hated it when it came to the romance section but its just one of many stories. The writing is emotional, and the story, its written in a way where its hard to get bored of it because there's something new, it does get very confusing around the tower master arc (that's what im calling it), but in those instances, you just take a bit more time and slow down to read it or take a break to think and it makes sense.I loved reading ORV (Omnsient Reader's Viewpoint) but it lacks emotions, its like a game you can maybe play 2-3 times and it kinda numbs you, I've re-read this a couple of times and each time you notice more and more with the knowledge you have. The webcomic adaptation sucks so I highly recommend this and I'm curious where it will go.
First thing, for anyone coming from the manga, I would recommend the novel simultaneiously or first, since there is a lot of minute emotion and symbolism present that makes the story as good as it is that is hard to show in the format of a manga. From the top, the main character is probably the strongest part of the story; there is noticeable growth in his mindset, and his relationship with the "NPCs" of the tower are the best part (especially with Raviel and the Demon) of the story, although his relationship with those outside of the floors pale in comparison. If I had to give my one issue with the novel, which is a personal fault more than anything else, it is that the stroy can get quite confuising sometimes. I have had to reread chapters to understand what exactly happened, due to the way regressiona and other mechanics introduced later in the story influence the character and the world. Overall if you want a story filled with emotion and amazing monologues, this is it. It also has some pretty good action scenes, although they are definitely not the main focus (in my opinion at least).
