Dumpster beginning after the end. Great art, endless plot armor, wildly stupid MC. This is a bad Manhua disguised as a Manhwa. As good as the art is, the children are drawn more like small sized adults and it looks really off putting sometimes. Like their heads are too big for their bodies and it just looks off. But otherwise the art is nice. Good fight scenes especially. I'm just going to scream into the void about how stupid and dissapointing everything else is now.  I'm going to ignore the petty stuff like how the mc is mentally 38 years old and talks about how he won't play with a bunch of kindergarteners and than does. So the mc gets regressed to a baby(from a 32 year old). How it happens doesn't really matter outside the fact all his allies were dead but a single healer magically survived and appears as mc is dying just so she could send the mc back in time. He establishes he has until he turns 6 to save his parents and sister from dying. So 5 years and change to do so. He also talks about how he barely remembers his sister compared to his parents. Super random to point out and makes no sense as we are shown that his sister was always super interested and involved in being around him and just always there. How do you remember that less than your working parents. No reason to be said and makes you question the mc's brain. Over this period 5 years he trains himself in mana. During this he also realizes his sister has an insane talent for mana and helps her train, he later meets another girl with even better talent. What are the odds this small child who has met maybe 10 other kids we have seen found two mana monster potential geniuses that didn't exist in his timeline, both the opposite sex, how convienent and cliche. Nothing else really happens until he turns 6 and recognizes that this is the day his family died. His parents say lets go see the grandma just like last life. The mc panics and goes how do I stop them from going to save their lives? What???? You literally had 5+ years with full grown adult intelligence and your memories from your past life and you never thought of a plan? Your whole primary drive in this new life was to save your family, but you never spend a single moment to think about how? He pulls a random excuse the parents buy. But oh no! Fate says his grandma is now sick and we must go. He curses fate instead of his own ret*rdation and starts to think about how to save his parents when they reach the bridge of death. You know, only in this exact moment they are leaving to die. Not anytime sooner. He talks about how as a child he can't take a kitchen knife or his mom will notice. All he has as a kid is a pair of scissors and a box cutter. Time out. Why does a six year old have a full blown box cutter. Not even a safety one that only the small tip can get out, like a full grown a*s version you use in a warehouse for breaking down boxes that can have the blade extend it's full length out. Also, why would your mom notice a missing kitchen knife? Just grab it and be the last one out the house after you snuck it into your bag. Why are you so hung up on the wierdest sh*t. So then they leave and get to the bridge. We find out the monster is rank 3, when the highest rank enemy is rank 1. So some pretty dangerous stuff. The mc establishes it takes 30 minutes for the super powerful hunter to show up, kill the monster, and rescue everyone after it first appears. That his job is to stall and protect his family for 30 minutes and we are fine. Ok, sounds reasonable to do. Kraken (rank 3) appears, mc and family leave car, sister can't run out of fear (makes total sense as she is a small child) and run for safety, dozens of dangerous but still weak by comparison mermen (rank 7) looking enemies appear. Mc ignores fighting, runs with family. Escape path gets blocked by giant flaming car wrecks. Mc tells his parents he is gonna go deal with it. That his sister, who is so sacred she couldn't even walk, is going to protect them while he's gone and he runs off towards the boss of all things. Excuse me? Your goal is to stall for time and save your families lives. So you just leave them to go fight the boss? In what world is that not the stupidest decision you could make? Just stay in the corner and protect your family. You establish when running to the boss you can kill multiple of these mermen at a time and take an absurd amount of damage even by adult standards let alone in a small a*s 6 year old body. Also how is your terrified sister going to fight these monsters? He regularly monologues about how he can't defeat the boss. Despite going out of his way to get it's attention and fight it. As he kills mermen and runs past all the dying humans and dying hunters ignoring them all, not helping a single one, he uses his box cutter to easily slay any merman that approaches him. He also ignores all the hunters swords, and mermen spears on the ground because why use our brains at this point. He fights the kraken way better than he should be able to, but hey power scaling in this whole story is a mess anyway, and eventually runs out of mana and nearly faints. Right before the kraken would finish him his sister appears. Uses a miracle skill, that only 4 people in his previous timeline had its so rare, and it magically heals him and returns his mana. Hey even the catastrophic deadly price miracle users pay is just a simple exhaustion of her mana cause why not. But wait, how did she get here? She also ran through all those people dying, didn't help, and didn't get attacked once? I guess? What about the parents? Who is protecting them now? How where they not able to stop the daughter from running away? The mc made sense, he had some distance and dashed before they could react. The sister was being carried and held by the dad. Also doesn't appear to have any extra speed from mana. So they were just like oh yea have fun don't die sweetie? Wasn't protecting the parents the sisters one job? Mc monologues about how his parents are safe because his sister is here now. How so? Escape route was still blocked, backup hasn't arrived. How is this addressed by the author? It isn't. This isn't the place to use your brain and think how dare you. But you know, everyone in this family gets heaps of plot armor not just the mc. The sister also didn't pick up a weapon, she knew she had the magical power of anime and god on her side and could save her brother. This all takes place in 5 chapters. 5. I also stopped reading here at chapter 10. From what I've read the parents and plot just gloss over everything. Mc just gets scolded over all this, sick grandma doesn't even call the family to let them know shes ok. Also no time skip so we are going to be a kindergartener for quite a while.
