The human race plunged into a war against dragons, who have invaded the earth! At the same time, among the humans arose people with supernatural powers, called psykers. Through the countless sacrifices of psykers, the war seemed to be coming to an end with the human race as the victors. But when a psyker with the ability to see the future foretold that the dragons will be returning in 15 years, the people established Ark, a facility to train children born with psychic abilities to prepare for the last war of the human race. There are only three years remaining until the prophesized war. What will happen next?!
After 48 chapters i am utterly bored with the premise and the mc charchter development. It has a good plot but the mc's charchter progress makes no sense whatsoever, as we grow older we get mentally and physologically stronger but the mc who has been a war orphan since childhood had been always praised for his high level of mentality and physological mind/understanding. Unfortunetly as the mc grew older the opposite happened and he gre mroe and more weaker mentally and physologically which makes no sense whatsoever. Also author trying to humantize the charchters and trying to justify that no matter what murder is wrong has been just outright stupid. Other from that, the idea is straightforward and essentially revolves around the good of humanity, murder being wrong, etc. The main plot hasn't moved forwards much thus far and has mostly been consisted of training arcs or unrelated side quests. However, this makes the work pretty dull and monotonous, especially because the protagonist is no longer badass because his dispassionate side has vanished, he commits several blunders, and he is shielded from consequences by the storyline. Try it out, but be aware that the pacing is slow and that some people won't understand the MC's emotional progression while others will try to justify it with illogical justifications.
I got into this after reading the top review here which is of negative impression. But after reading 68 chapters, I can say that this one is a really good read. The MC here is more like a leader with a fair amount of OPness; not that suffocating amount as seen in other works. The story and art so far are great as well. The side characters are more flushed out and are not wagging their tails whenever they see MC within a mile. They have rivalry and friendship among them which is refreshing. Definitely worth more than 4 stars imo.
