A small group of adults have been invited to a reunion at their old highschool to remember the loss of their classmate Kiriko, after receiving a letter "From K." Not knowing who "K" is, Ryosuke, a young man with short black hair that used to know Kiriko, has to uncover the truth of Kiriko's mysterious death. As he slowly regains his memories as his fellow classmates start suddenly dying around him in the most horrific manner, he realises that it's far too late to say sorry.

First and foremost, Kiriko's is not going to win any awards or super high praises. It's not the type of manga that blows peoples minds nor makes you hyped for a sequel or wanting to re-read it time and time again. Kiriko's is a generic "wodunnit" manga with a supernatural twist and I, for a moment, was inclined to drop it in the first two chapters but I kept going and i'm not going to say that it was super worth it but i'm glad I did because I wasn't expecting what happened in the later chapters. All the character's are super bland and one dimensional with 0 to little character development. The "main character" is the typical goody two shoes, there's a bimbo whore, the edgy bad guy, the worthless goof, the romantic interest and the nerdy non-chatty guy but depite that, only the MC manages to get a little bit more interesting with the added backstory in the final pages of the manga. And now i'm going to explain why does the MC gets a tiny bit more interesting and why I'm glad I kept reading it. I wasn't expecting at all the plot-twist, despite it being pretty used on this medium, nonetheless I enjoyed it and I think it was well executed. Using the MC's trauma as a way to explain why he viewed Kiriko in such a good way was simply genius. And no, this wasn't a plot point taken out of the author's ass because in the early chapters you can see that whenever Ryosuke's mentions Kiriko's looks, her ex-classmates fakely agree and laugh or simply remain silent because deep down the know the real truth... they know that Kiriko was a deformed girl who couldn't even stand up to them and let them ridiculize her and the only one who opposed that was Ryosuke, but depite that, in the end it was him who lead her to her death and that's the reason he repressed his memories and made-up fake ones. To end this i'm going to give a little praise to the artwork which was flawless with a super clean art-line and kind of reminded me of "Fuuka". And was capable of being super detailed and scary whenever it needed to. All in all, i think this is worth a read if you want a quick burst of horror.
