TL;DR - I guess it wasn't horrible but I ended up dropping it. For a mystery humor, it was kind of boring and unclever. The premise is that our main character has a crush on his senpai, who's crazy into mysteries. So he (or she) would "challenge" the other to mysteries they come up with. As a premise, this could make for fun, light-hearted reading, but the problem is that the characters are mostly uninteresting and every "mystery" is pretty... dull. There's a chapter that mildly touches on cold reading, and MC basically uses it to guess what color FMC's panties are. Our MC is mostly just a pervert. Not the worst pervert, but boring and unsophisticated. I really don't know what the author was thinking when they decided to pair a boring, unsophisticated, somewhat perverted MC with mysteries. It kinda takes away from the mystery and even the humor. Individual chapters will touch on or use very popular mystery tropes (e.g. locked room, cold reading, poisoned cups, twins, etc. etc.) but they are only shallowly explained or explored. You could argue that this manga is more "Comedy" than "Mystery" but it's rarely funny. At best, I've managed a light grin at a cute moment or two, but for the most part it's all just MC overreacting to everything/everyone around him (tsukkomu). It's a less funny and more perverted D-Frag. The art is nice - characters are drawn finely and there's some nice anatomy, I guess ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) If you're bored and there's nothing else to read then you could waste time on this but it's not particularly funny or gripping. I ended up dropping it about 25 chapters in.
