"'Level up even while offline'?! That’s not a game on 'easy mode'—that’s just an AFK game!" The online game Yamada Kenichi had been playing religiously is shutting down its servers, leaving him with a void in his heart. He looks for a new game to fill it, but everything he finds is way too easy. The kind of game he likes—the kind punishing enough to make players want to spend thousands of hours on it—just isn’t around anymore. "What’s this? 'You are invited to a game that will never end.'" Kenichi stumbles upon an untitled game, one promising incomparable challenge with unprecedented potential. Without hesitation, he selects the "Hell Mode" difficulty. Lo and behold, he finds himself reincarnated in another world as a serf! Now called Allen, he sets out to unlock the secrets of his mystery-laden Summoner class; without the convenience of walkthroughs, game guides, or online forums, he must grope his way to the top of his new world!

I find this manga fairly hard to read due to many aspects of the world never being described (how MC’s mana works, 90% of the MC’s status values, the majority of how the MC’s skill woks) or flat-out wrongly described (Killing a frog gives you 5 coins but killing a legendary dragon will give you 100 coins? That could be wrong though since the currency values change every time they’re mentioned). These constant changes/errors to various details make this manga come off as a rough draft that was never proofread, there’s far too many continuity errors. (I'm not talking about translation errors here). Add on plot progression that relies on these constantly changing world aspects (rules conveniently change for the MC’s benefit) and you arrive at a frustrating read. With all that said, If you can willfully ignore these errors (This being a good skill to have as a manga reader), its not bad. Theres no harem which makes it better than almost half of fantasy manga and while the MC is by all functional means OP, he does still lose and struggle.
This is one of the most underrated isekai manga I have read. The story is so good and engaging. The best thing about this manga is the level grind. It never get's boring. The word building is top notch. The pacing nice and slow. All characters are original. Nothing seems too much forced. The way this manga portrays a fantasy world is brilliant. This is a must try for isekai genre fans.
