Restaurant to Another World

There is a certain restaurant in the first basement level of a multi-tenant building in one corner of a shopping street near the office district. The historical 70-year-old restaurant, marked by a sign with a picture of a cat, is called "Western Cuisine Nekoya." This restaurant looks completely normal through the week, but on Saturdays, it opens in secret exclusively to some very unique guests. During these hours, doors in various areas of a parallel world open to allow customers of many different races and cultures into the restaurant.

Both series have an iyashikei vibe. Clients leave the restaurant happy and fullfiled; also we have the chance to learn their stories. Main difference is the specific of the food (western for Restaurant to Another World and mainly japanesse for Yotsuiro Biyori).

feel-good series with no definite plot line, set in a restaraunt whose owners pour heart and soul into serving good meals for their guests.

LanaBlade LanaBlade says...

They're both very low stakes, cozy slice of life animes centering around food and restaurants and their staff and guests.

Echoooo Echoooo says...

Both have the same general premise, a restaurant formed by family-like workers serving guests and bringing them closer together / solving their issues. Yotsurio is much more heart-warming and family oriented while restaurant to another world is a bit more fantasy and self-discovery based.

Both are excellent watches and worth your time.

These anime series are perfect for people who enjoy cooking & the impacts that it has on people's lives simply through the craft & acts of kindness as well. They're adorable & quite wholesome as well. Especially, if you love to visit cafes & restaurants because it's your love language & favorite pass-time as well

Both of these shows have a similar art style and they are both about a group of guys who hang out together all the time. They both have characters who experience a lot of growth and overcoming dificulties they had with themselves and those around them.

These have the same feel to me.  Very cozy, slice of life anime with minimal stakes and adorable found family groups.

Both of these show a place where one can eat and enjoy the atmosphere.

Meeting new people and forming friendships  is also something that I think is common.

And both are really feel good and lighthearted anime.

This anime has the same vibe and premise, both set in food related scenarios and Yotsuiro Biyori had an all male cast that reminds me of Ristorante Paradiso.
