I watched most of these at the start of my anime binge in 2015 so they are probably some of the first 20 animes I watched. Shows watched after these were compared to them so I feel I should watch these again to compare them against the rest of what I have watched if that makes sense lol.
I watched Blood+ 1st, Eflen Lied was 4th, Attack on Titan was 7th, Afro Samurai was 8th, Kill la Kill was 12ish, Darker than Black was 17ish.
Of my top 12 I will probably rewatch Blood+, Eflen Lied, Kill la Kill for dub and its so funny, Attack on Titan before the new season, Akame ga Kill, Hellsing Ultimate, Darker than Black and maybe Black Lagoon but I dono. thats 73ish hours without black lagoon lol.
I know Im doing this to myself but I did really enjoy them when I watched so it will be worth it. For x reason I didnt think some of them were five star and I want to remember why to determine if they go up or down. Possibly check out the opposite of what I watched Dubbed or Subbed. This will make my list easier in the future which is good since after I hit 100 it started to get more and more challeneging. I find it a fun hobby though lol.
Ya ive wondered what will happen when i start rewatching shows. I rewatched princess monokee a few months ago and its still really good but not as good as I remember. I bet my opinions will change when I finially get around to rewatching shows and doing a revision of my top 12 ....
The Monogatrai series very good at times but can drag pretty bad when certian characters are involved and the story gets slow.
Migi had made it very clear if he told any one they would die but later on it is very possible Migi finding out could have been avoided so you have a point.
Kool I will check out the movies then.
Ahhhh yes so many things experince it never stops lol.
In Tokyo Ghoul I think there were flash backs that happended throughout the season that filled in backstory that was very important. Each time I was going to say this is a plot hole and then the flash back would correct me. Yes season two is bad. Hmm i wonder if they were critized for being too fast in season one and thats why nothing happens for four ep before the climax in season two lol.....
As for had you watched simliar things to steins gate I meant it would make more sense to give it an average score. I personally had not seen back to the future or edge of tmr so I was very impressed by its concepts.
I want to watch re:zero from all the hype around it and Rem but I like to watch anime that is completed-ish. I assume there would be more content?
I read about Tatami Galaxy but didnt think I would like it at the time maybe I should give it a shot.
I have seen Inception but wont watch Shutter island since I know how it ends.
Yes I need to watch the new season of Blue Exorcist it just took me six weeks to tackle the Monogatari series... That makes sense to be disappointed it divirged from the manga.
I thought the romance in Parasite was more realistic since they would get mad at each other and Shinichi was struggling to retain his humanity. The show has most of the tags i like in entertianment, dark, mature, brutal with interesting themes, story and character development to name a few. i was glued to the screen watching this show since I couldnt predict what was going to happen and it kept me guessing. I expected it to be good due to its rating, I saw it recommended a lot but didnt think it would be as good as it was. I try to watch things without any knowedge beforehand so shows will have a bigger impact and I wont show bias. In other entries on my list not having knowedge penalizes me see When they cry at #120 and its Second Season at #93 and Vampire Knight at #185.
Should I watch Kenshin? I'm always hesitant on long anime for fear of hating it but forcing myself to finish it.
Hmm I dont remeber Trigun well but the climax was smart and the villian achives his goal to inflict the max pain to vash. A fair critizism preachness sucks. I enjoyed the show though since he was so goofy but also a bad ass at times.
As for Soul Eaters climax i just had to read it since wasnt memorable but the arc getting there was kool. There were a lot of things that could have made the show better but I did enjoy it.
I ask for Basilisk because the Sub was bad and heavly influenced my opinion of the show.
Ya the Dub for Elfen Lied is really bad and if you dont like Ecchi it would be hard to go back to watch subbed again after knowing the story. Since you read a bunch of manga I would say give it a try.

I thought jormungand was pretty kool. I watched it in dec 2015 so i dont really remember fine details and i didnt write a good description for me to remember. However I really liked Koko and her plans in season two are smart and interesting. The secondary characters could of had more interesting backstories. Once I hit the Italian lines I switched to Dub and it was a good choice. I think the mixing of languages only in one or two ep. As for similarites it is like Black Lagoon but an arms dealing story. Similar to phantom of the requiem but without the romance. I know you havent seen these but im not sure what else to compare it too. It is not gritty or dark but subbed could be a little different.

If u watched dubbed Elfen Lied ur hatered for it is more understandable. The manga was really good and Bando has a better role later on.
lol no I had low expectations. A dnd campaign style could have worked but it seemed like they ran out of ideas. Some of it is quite funny though and it could have expanded.
lol you gave mars of destruction a 5 and its comuntiy rank is so low. Im going to have to watch this at some point. it looks like we share opinion on some things but out of what we share avg score 5.9 for you and 8 for me on MAL. Im interested to hear ur opinion on a few shows if you would like to share
