Jeez, that's a tight schedule. As long as you genuinely want to do all of those activities, then it's understandable.
I was by no means bad at school, I lost most of my credits transferring, I went from slated to graduate a year early, to graduating a year late. Once I realized I was slated for graduation a year late, I dropped out and got a GED. As far as I am aware, this has not hurt me in any way, and I landed a pretty good job doing IT work. My formal tital is "Customer Support", but what I do is really more like "Linux Server Analyst" and "Software Support". Basically, I support the servers and software that doctors use to electronically pull up xrays and such. Not what I ever thought I'd be doing, but I can't complain. It's a good company and a good job, so I can't complain too much.
Hmm, I think I'm pretty patient with shows for the most part. I don't drop many series, and ones i stall on I usually get back to eventually. This is a big part of the reason I haven't seen a huge number of shows but I have a lot of episodes watched. All of Naruto, Bleach, Most of One Piece, hitman reborn, yu yu hakusho, etc.
The shows don't really resonate with me much anymore, though, I mostly finished out as many of them as I did because of that ongoing feeling of commitment to a series.
All in all I'm doing pretty good I suppose. Can't complain to much, just kind of day-in day-out. Just doing my 9-5 everyday, and trying to have fun. How are you?
I understand being bored earlier on by Lain, it's kind of slow paced, and it takes a while before things start getting insane. I'm not sure if it's fair to say it gets better. I feel like there's some really abstract meaning to it but I've never been able to come up with an explanation or theory on what they were going for or what it could mean, which frustrated me. I feel like I would have loved it otherwise.
I loved Higurashi, I thought it was realy well done. but it was a bit slow to start too.
Sorry to hear about the ex debacle, hope you can eventually get through it if you want to anyways.
Shana is still probably my favorite character of all time, but it's hard not to flip back and fourth, any anime I like, I connect with pretty quickly. Even bad animes are entertaining to me. That's why I have too many higher ratings on my list.
