I haven't actually read the manga of Promised Neverland, so fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately) I wouldn't know what I would be missing when I do watch it.
By the way, not sure if you knew, but after you finish reading Alice in Borderland, there is a small sequel (only 13 chapters) called Imawa no Kuni no ALice RETRY

When I first wrote this comment the list of mangas I wanted to reccommend went on and on, so instead, I did shorten it to some that are my most favourites or something I think you would enjoy but if you have a genre you want in particular.
The story follows an immortal being with, uhm, powers. It's heartbreaking at times due to how lonely immortality must be. It's a fantasy adventure story, and even with the cycle of MC meets character, emotional bond (whether negative or positive), character dies, it never fails to make each scenario unique and interesting. Easily binge-worthy but not complete to my dismay.
This was one of my first seinens, and what truly pushed me to appreciate a wider range of genre. What is a real pity though, is that the art isn't that good (I mean, I've already gotten used to it so I don't mind anymore) but this puts new readers off. Which breaks my heart, because they are missing out of something amazing.
It's a revenge story about two orphans, someone they cherished was murdered and no one believed them when they said that they saw the culprit. Namely, someone silenced them, "the man with the gold watch". To find vengeance for their love one the two team up yet take very different paths, one becomes a policeman and the other a mafia memeber.
Words cannot begin to describe how much I love Tokyo Revengers (there's an anime coming out in april, I'm so excited (^o^) ) I made the mistake of reading this at 9:00pm, which resulted in my binging this until 3:00am. I just love this one so much. It's been such a journey, it has made me cry, made me laugh, made me proud.
It's my favourite shounen (though I didn't write this on my profile, it sometimes clashes with Alice in Borderland for the title of favourite manga). It has a time travel element alongside action. Character's friendship and love for eachother makes me tear up. I hope you'll love this as well, because I did so much.
My favourite manhwa (korean). Its a story about a guy who commits suicide, but due to his suicide note stating that though he cannot control life, he can at least control death. Death (of course) reads this and is angered. So death gives him 13 lives, just so he can die again and again. But if he manages to survive one, then he can continue living it.
Some may be frustrated with how slow his character development is, but I do honestly love that. His first life he was a pathetic (in his eyes as well) man, one cannot just change themselves, it makes it more realistic for him to be like this. Nevertheless, this ends on a beautiful note after him having to face countless obstacles, both physically and internally.
Despite it's cute artstyle, this story is very psychological and dark. It's messed up - it messed me up emotionally. It's twisted with obsession, bullying, abuse and the lasting affects. The blame, at the end of the day, can go on and on, but all I will say is that none of the kids deserved what happened to them. I can't say much more without spoilers, but it's something memorable alright.
Season 1 is pretty light and entertaining. It's about a RPG game, and in it is a girl names Risa. She seduces players into doing what she wants. But then she meets our other MC, Florence, who isn't fazed by her because he's gay and Gideon, who also isn't seduced. Things lead to another and then they form a guild. I think it's somewhere near the end of S2 and S3 where it starts getting a bit more serious with stalkers, an abusive older brother and the game seems to have it's secrets as well.
This was a very enjoyable read. it is a sea/ship adventure story centered around a young girl who takes her late master's son and goes to sea, after his mysterious disappearence. Something about this story just really clicks with me. It has a pretty interesting plot twist as well.
I haven't yet finished this one yet because I can only read three a day with daily passes on webtoons, but I keep forgetting to check in everyday so it's a very long process right now. Nevertheless, pigpen is a very addicting read. It's a horror, mystery thriller. This story is very mind boggling, it makes us doubt the main character's sanity. The plot twists slap you in the face, and there are many that are equally mind blowing.
