For people who are more into 24/7 suspense anime, this isn't for you. Japan Sinks 2020 is based on a more realistic point of view. As we all know, in reality, not all the time are there big dialogues and big events, so the anime takes place on a setting where there are more character development and slow starts. For some, it may be boring, but as you keep watching, I guarantee you'll get hooked.  You shouldn't underestimate this anime because of the bad reviews. Tenkuu Shinpan (High-Rise Invasion) is one of my most anticipated and loved manga, but the anime adaptation greatly disappointed me since the very beginning of episode 1. When I heard that it was recieving an anime adaptation, I was really excited, considering that the studio it was under was Zero-G. But of course, I left with a truck or two, full of disappointment. It centers the main character, Yuri, who wakes up and finds herself stuck in this world where "masks" are hunting people like sport through these "commands", driving them to commit suicide. The story is brilliant. Although it starts from a time skip to the future from season 3, the story is still easy to catch up  on and understand and it compensates for the missing parts of the storyline (I would prefer that the missing parts stayed since they are also relevant. But doing this timeskip allowed us to have so many surprises.)  The animation is great! I almost did not notice that the titan transformations were CGI until I looked at it the second time.
