So I was given this anime for secret santa this year and it's been on my want to watch list for a long time now and honestly I do not know why I put it of for so long. After watching the show  now know why it's such a talked about anime. Intriging characters and great animation for its time, as well as an awesome soundtrack, you really can't go wrong with this show! The premise of the movie is really interesting but fell short. It ended up being not awful but not good either. If your interest in the movie is mild, don't watch it. Story - 4/10 The story felt all over the place and the pacing was stange. Their take on religion was interesting and was really the only thing that kept me watching it. Also, aliens out of no where half way through the movie in an attempt to keep your interest was just plain weird. Ristorante Paradiso is wonderful anime, where initially I thought it was going to be silly and not good at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was wrong. This anime is an endearing anime about family/relationship complexes, handled in the best way possible. At 11 episodes, it doesn't feel rushed but even at the end, which is wrapped up nicely, I felt like it was done but there could be more if wanted. I was sad to see it end but it was well worth the watch!

Cute little, well animated short that will only take two minutes out of your day but worth the watch

The story was interesting and very moving. It is unfortunate that it was bogged down but such low quality animation. There was no consistency in any of it and it looked like a beginner animator did all the work. It pales in comparison to this animation company's other works, such as Garden of Words. If there is any sort of reason to watch this short, it would be for the unique story and excellent soundtrack (the voice acting was also pretty good).

I recently finished re-watching the first season of Sailor Moon, so this is going to turn out more as a comparison of the english dub of my childhood to the original japanese version.
I have loved Sailor Moon ever since I first watched it all those years ago. Now that I have watched the original I will tell you now that if you want to know what pointlessly removed episodes the dubbers removed from the english line-up of episodes, the most easiest way to expain it would take every second episode out up till about episode 15-16 and then near the end of the anime cut out a couple more just to make sure you...
