Written as of episode 250, no story specific spoilers  All of the characters in Boruto are copy and pasted knock off versions of Naruto, Boruto recycles the same characters from naruto and attempts to give them their own personalities with different names and a few changed features while bringing none of the good character development or lessons passed down from the previous series.

I'm no writer but i thought i should convey my thoughts on the anime. First off it was good fodder to watch, the story isnt overwhelming, i wasnt begging for a econd season, but at the same time i DID enjoy it as far as watching something when you're bored and running out of stuff to watch (like me). Secondly, there are small things in this anime that may not bother most, but kinda ruin the suspension of disbelief for me, I.E. bulletproof tires deflectinf bullets when in reality they just wont go flat, a gun firing the wrong calibre of rounds, grenade fuse levers not "releasing" when thrown yet... WOW... This was... boring. No character development, plot was iffy, the mc was underwhelming, but at least not as underwhelming as the story, spent 2-3 episodes building up to a climax then fell flat with some lame plot twist that killed any potentially interesting developments, rinse repeat, the only saving grace imo was the fan service and the last 5 minutes of the final episode which opened up some room for potentially interesting developments, but as i mentioned earlier, will most likely be killed by some plot twist leading in a cookie cutter template type direction
